1. Ladder Match
I just love ladder matches. They are usually spot-fests, but some have managed to tell a story through it. I bought the Ladder Match DVD like a yer ago and it's still one of my absolute faves.
2. Royal Rumble
Nothing beats a Royal Rumble in terms of suspense and excitement. 30/40 wrestlers and only 1 gets the massive prize of headlining the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania!
3. Triple Threat
To me a triple threat is the pinacle of ring psychology. IMO it's pretty much impossibble for a triple threat not to tell a story.
4. Hardcore Match/Street Fight/No DQ
I really classify these as the same thing. I could watch classics like Edge vs. Foley at WM22 or Triple H vs. Foley at Rumble 2000 for a lifetime.
5. Hell In A Cell
Pure brutality.
As you can gather, I do like a good gore-fest, but I'm also a massive fan of in-ring storytelling
