So I have developed this theory and it involves AJ Styles, The Club, NXt, Triple H, the Brand Split and many more.
Money In The Bank
At Money In The Bank we are going to witness AJ Styles vs John Cena. The Club seems to be banned from ringside. I think that AJ Styles will beat Cena with the help of a debuting Finn Balor. No Demon Balor, but Bullet Club Balor.
Dean Ambrose becomes Mr. Money In The Bank.
Mainwhile, Seth Rollins will defeat Roman Reigns and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Dean tries to cash in but fails.
The challenge
After MITB, Vince McMahon will make his return on WWE TV. He will announce that Shane will get control of Smackdown and Stephanie and Triple H will have control of RAW and NXT. Stephanie will of course not like that. She will want control of both shows, one show for her and one for her husband. Shane will propose a challenge:
"No second world title will be added up until Summerslam. Stephanie and Triple H can choose a wrestler to fight for them and Shane, will also pick another wrestler to fight for him at a Smackdown vs RAW contest at the main event of Summerslam. If Shane wins, he takes the title, the WWE Championship, to Smackdown and if he loses, he gives SD to Stephanie and HHH as well."
Prequel to Battleground
HHH returns. He and Rollins agree that should Rollins keep the belt until Summerslam, he's going to be the one fighting for RAW and Steph and HHH. Mainwhile, Rollins starts to turn face due to his reactions from the crowd and the fact that he doesn't play dirty. Triple H also plays a role in that as he "bullies" Rollins, in order to win, since Rollins is the only option Triple H has.
Cena vs The Club continues.
Battleground
The Club (Balor, Gallows, Anderson) def. New Day (3-on-3)
Cena beats AJ Styles.
Rollins(c) will defeat Reigns after Ambrose tries to interfere mid-match. Reigns stops him because he doesn't want to lose his rematch. Rollins takes advantage and wins. Post-match, Shane's music hits. Shane says that Rollins made his choice and that is to back up Triple H.
The Club's music hits. They attack the former Shield members and take them out.
Prequel to Summerslam
It looks like the Shield will battle The Club up until Summerslam. However that's not the case. Dean Ambrose turns on the Shield and goes after Reigns. Ambrose says that he doesn't care about Triple H nor The Club. He wants Roman Reigns and blames him for the fact that he couldn't become a World Champ all those years.
It's officialy going to be Rollins(c) (w/ Triple H) vs AJ Styles (w/ Shane McMahon) at Summerslam.
Shane reveals himself to be the one who brought The Club together in the WWE. He brought Anderson and Gallows in the company and also signed Balor with the main roster. He says that he wanted to use the Club in order to take control of the WWE, but "that fool Vince" gave it to me anyway. So I'll just use it to make Smackdown the better brand.
Now that the Shield is no more, Rollins stands on his own against The Club. There's also heat developing between him and Triple H.
Owens vs Shane continues. It heats up when it's revealed that Owens will be under Smackdown, the potential brand that Shane will control. SD's #1 draft pick is John Cena. Owens and Cena get in a feud around who's the better man.
Summerslam card
The Miz(c) vs Sami Zayn (Singles match for the SD Intercontinental Championship)
Rusev(c) vs Cesaro vs The Big Show(Triple Threat match for the RAW US Championship)
Finn Balor vs Chris Jericho (SD vs RAW match)

Shane wins and keeps SD and the WWE Championship. This gives Smackdown a proper push, a passing of the torch you might say from RAW to SD, a proper stage to shine going forward. Stephanie is forced to bring back the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. The match will be Lesnar vs Reigns for the vacant WH Championship.
Styles will face Cena for the WWE Championship.
A feud between Rollins and Triple H will begin on RAW while Owens vs Shane will continue on SD.
Balor will start showing face tendecies, leading up to a big Styles vs Balor match at Wrestlemania (non-title).
WWE will also have to think wether they're going to split the tag belts again. If they do, the new belts should also debut at NoC.
