Here me out on this when Y2J comes back to the WWE instead of having him as a heel again what if he was leading a Face Stable either on Raw or Smackdown, and he get's the younger guy's in the WWE to start a stable, this is just a random saying someone like Evan Bourne, Dave Boy Smith, Daniel Brian etc. And have them in a stable together because Jericho would be a great teacher and meantor for them have that going on for a few months then when the time is right let's just say Dave Boy Smith turn's on Y2J and makes Dave Boy Smith a heel and that would give him a great push to become a future main eventer if all goes well and it help's his status to grow even more in the WWE and it help's the company as well.

What are your Thought's????

Face stables are a very tricky thing to mess with in Professional wrestling. Unlike Heel Stables, getting pops for a Face Stable will be very difficult. Heel Stables like Nexus and Corre all they need to do is band together almost out of thin air to beatdown one man. If Y2J were to create a Face stable he would have to had past relations with the Superstars to have them join him.

And What reason would Jericho need to create a Face stable? He has shown time and time again he can win and retain his World Championships. He is a future Hall of Famer and a legend among the ropes of Professional wrestling. Leading a Face stable will only make him and his followers look weak.

If anything, Jericho can be a manager/Wrestler for a Face tag team. Now managing that Tag team he can help the Team win the Tag team Championships and in return, help Jericho win the World title. Once he wins the World title he can put the jump on the Tag team, Gaining heat on himself, and putting over two young Superstars in the same process.

It's nothing to do with Y2J, it's to help some of the younger talent get a good push in the WWE instead of having some stupid matche on superstar's, so know I don't think it would weaken his legacy at all. Y2J would be the perfect guy to help push the younger talent in the locker room, like come on we all know Y2J isn't going to be around forever and he has nothing left to prove in the WWE, and YES he his going to be a future hall of famer and so this I think would be a great way to help out the locker room

Here's the thing with a face stable. They are only really prevalent when there is a rival heel stable to feud with. And with Corre and Nexus going under soon, there will be no stables. And then the feud between those stables are only really concentrating on the feud of the leaders.

Personally, I would like Jericho to come back and lead a heel stable. And then somebody can make a face stable to try and stop them.

The first thing that comes to mind is DX vs The NOD. Other than that it's hard to find a face stable. Face stables don't work even if 1/2 the crowed was behind a stable ( 4 horsemen ) but in the long run it won't do the heel stable any good if the crowd likes them

Every few months, someone pops up and makes the suggestion to create a face stable. And, as has been alluded to already, they only have one single purpose. Ever. That purpose is to challenge a heel stable that has been running rampant. They rarely have an official name, and they're always easily forgotten. They never get anyone over either. Cena's team went up against the Nexus. And then they disappeared into thin air. Mankind's team, "The Union" went up against the Corporate Ministry. They never have anything in common other than taking out the Heel group. They merely exist to help the Top face survive beatdowns.

The idea that Jericho would be the one to lead one of these is silly anyways. Jericho is, and always has been, best used as a heel. Have him lead a heel stable of young guys that he has something in common with. That's the only thing that would work using the words "Jericho" and "Stable" in the same sentence.

chair shot reality just had a segment about this on their last video. they even brought up jericho being a good influence when he comes back to the younger talent by leading them in a stable. but we dont ever see a face stable..the last one i can remember would be the wolfpack or dx when everyone was together (not just hhh hbk). i dont like stables just for the fact that only one superstar is mainly the focal point. look at corre and nexus. but it is a good way to give all these guys who are doing nothing a meaningful chance on tv.

I said this on my other thread, but it sort of fits right here.

King Patrick said:
Jericho wants to come back with a new gimmick. I say the only gimmick left for Jericho to do would be the leader / manager of a Stable. Yes, he has had partners before, but now is the time to elevate the future the same way past Stable leaders did. Miz, Sheamus, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler would do just fine under Jericho’s leadership. All former WWE / World Champions. All young and hungry. The stable name… “Future”.

After further consideration, I think the name “New Millennium” could work, or simply, “Millennium”. They would be perfect to go up against your Face Stable of Evan Bourne, Dave Boy Smith, Daniel Brian, and maybe one or two more members.

Well making a face stable is hard if one person is over with the crowd it doesn't make any since but if anybody can make a great face stable its Y2J plus bourne is over DH smith can learn a lot from jericho so I think it can work

PS- King Patrick I love the sig

If you want Jericho to give a new guy the rub, a stable is not the way to go. Instead of a bunch of guys, give Jericho one guy - a protege to work with, give the rub to and win the tag team titles with (Jericho doesn't need another reign as WWE/World Champ). Later, protege can turn on Jericho and feud with him.

There have VERY few face stables in wrestling history. Managers with stables were almost always heels.

Face stables are difficult to pull off because a stable usually has a gang mentality. It's hard to get positive pops from four guys beating down one guy.

Jericho as a face stable-leader seems like it has some chance of working because he can pull off quite a lot. However, it's just a tricky thing to do. The best way to do it would be to get the right guys. With the wrong guys, it doesn't matter if Jericho is able to pull it off.

All of the have to come together in a way that fans understand and are OKay with. It has to be something that makes them band together. They all have to have a common heel enemy or two and they have to fit well. Has to be a come-uppins story. Otherwise, it rarely works.

You could have a heel stable, that has a horrible leader. Something like The Corre, in the sense that Barrett is a good.... bad guy. If they kicked him out and the fans loved it and they were tired of being bossed around and so forth, fans could relate. Though, that's almost impossible now as Jackson is gone and two guys don't really make much of a stable.

The only other type of face stable is a group like DX. Rare.

I would rather see Jericho come back as the new Raw General Manager seeing as he has done pretty much everything else in the WWE. If Micheal Cole does happen to create some sort of heel stable then I am sure a face stable will be created somewhere down the line to feud with.

Personally I think if a face stable were to happen it would be led by John Cena. Maybe have the new Nexus and Corre team up to destroy him and then have him say he's had enuff and he's callin reinforcements. It should be a group of FCW guys who are ready for the big stage and match up well against Corre and Nexus

There were rumblings a while back that when CM Punk came to Raw, the "scouting" he was doing was for a new stable in the works with CM Punk, Evan Bourne, Daniel Bryan, and Kaval. Obviously this never came to fruition, and Kaval ended up leaving the WWE. I think however, this could have been an amazing face stable of pure fighters (CM Punk was on commentary with an injury at the time, and was teetering between a heel or face).

Two words

The Apple...

Stables dont work nowadays unless they are a heel dominant force like Evolution was or The Nexus were.

The only way you could sustain a face stable is if you have a heel stable for them to feud with with. You cant have a gface stable by itself beating up on heels, they faces would be no different than heels. Also, if you thought the Nexus/Corre stables got stale, this would be worse.
