I know I'll probably be the only person to vote for him in the next round against Brock Lesnar, but I am so very, very happy that my main man made it through three rounds. I will now gladly accept the name of "Mini-Murfish," and think about how Liger will get to the Sweet 16 in next year's WZ Tournament.

Also, thank goodness for LigerBomb, a man who probably loves Liger even more than I do. He definitely did a lot in that thread. I only hope that next year I'll be able to put forth arguments that are as persuasive and insightful as his.

I never thought a win was impossible. Perhaps just highly improbable due to Liger's relative obscurity in the West, and Michaels being white washed into an infallible legend by WWE.

Similarly I believe it possible for Liger to trump Lesnar, however I'm of significantly less belief that this will happen due to the voluminous hyperbole that coincides with any mention of his abilities. I'll not be so blind as to think that what happened against Michaels will happen against Brock. But I'm ok with that. I'm just glad Liger made it as far as he did as I believe he truly is one of the greats of this sport.
