Ever notice...

Re-watched iMPACT yesterday, they were down the front near the entrance ramp. At one point they tried to get a "shut the hell up" chant going during Wolfe's promo. Didn't last. From what I remember a while back, there was a video posted of a TNA producer talking about microphones in the stands. It would not surprise me at all if some of those microphones are in the pit and so the Cancer Crew not being near the pit stopped their chants from getting going. Which IMO is great, as said above DangerousDave if TNA is taking measures to keep these guys away from areas they can cause douchey-chants to start at, then good. I liked the boo's and cheers this time around and I'm one of those people who usually likes people getting to choose who they boo and cheer, but the chants needed to stop and iMPACT was better without them.

I knew I couldn't have been the only one to notice. When I flick on Impact, I usually get ready to get annoyed by the screeching girl and asinine chants instead of focusing on the ring, but I was surprised that 5-10 minutes in, there was nothing but a "regular" crowd reaction. I was surprised and ended up settling in to enjoy the show and not succumb to distraction.

I guess I must give praise to this Joe person. If he keeps it up, I shall have to build a shrine to him. The crowd was proper, and it was good. :worship:

I attend the matches every time in the Impact Zone. BTW, I sit in the seats and I don't chant, so don't bust my balls. The way admission works at the Impact Zone is that you get a ticket outside of the studio the day of the match. They put you in que by ticket number and once you are let into the Impact Zone you pick your seat or place at the rail. Of course the Cancer Crew are among the first ones to get their ticket and used to get their spot at the rail easily. Starting at the last two shows, Joe (the guy in charge of letting you in) goes through the crowd in que and picks people to go in the pit (on the rail) based on several criteria. He wants loud people, people with good signs, TNA t-shirts ect. This group goes in their own seperate que and goes into the Impact Zone first. I've noticed he didn't pick anyone from the Cancer Crew. He picks enough people to fill the rail by the ring forcing the Cancer Crew to the end of the rail were they don't get much face time on camera. It has made a noticable differance in the number of chants that break out. I recall hearing only a couple chants, which were weak and didn't last long. I'm sure TNA is the one that encouraged Joe to do this. I hope Joe keeps this up, because if he does, hopefully they will give up on trying to get face time and being total assholes. BTW Joe is the man.
Tell Joe thank you from a new viewer out in the Middle East, then. Promise that when the inevitable jihad comes, we'll leave him for last.

But seriously, those guys are annoying. I'm only recently following TNA and they're a pretty big put-off (like a lot of the chants in ROH shows too actually).

Well I hope they have not been silenced or banned as wrestling is better with the fans chanting who they want to chant for if they buy there ticket. But if they don't chant for however TNA want you to chant for and be happy with it! But if the 'Cancer' crew pay for there tickets then they should not be judged on how they act as that brings in a rubbish environment.

It's Damn real the wrestlers you chose for examples are not brilliant expect one which is Abyss. But London brawling were in the ring with the MCMG's who are the most over face tag team in TNA at the moment so they did not stand a chance.

Fortune are faces in my option because they are defending there territory against ECW guys in the only way wrestling has which is beat the living day lights out off the attacking force its a simple idea that every one will uses for example John Cena face against the Nexus heel's all that story is basically John Cena defending the WWE against the Nexus. So how does Fourtune get booed and EV 2.0 not?

I would have chosen Sting and EV 2.0 basically because the 'cancer crew cheered Sting a little bit until Samoa Joe came out then he got booed and EV 2.0 are an attacking force in TNA and need to get booed.
