Now before I start I am going to give you some facts, cold hard truths.
Take them as you will, I do not intend to offend any human being.
I've gotten these facts from Twitter tweets of these two, their interviews and podcasts, WWE Magazines, everything is 150 percent factual here-

Matthew Joseph Korklan/ Evan Bourne/ Matt Sydal-
short time backyard wrestler, as Sui-Sydal, a mix of Sabu + Rey Mysterio
highschool wrestler
gymnastics background
martial arts background
Play by Play commentator GCW warehouse/wrestling school/PPV show{age 15-17}
legal wrestler- age 17, one year under legal age
Scouted by Orton family
IWA Midsouth- feuded with AJ Styles, CM Punk, Jaysin Strife, won Ted Peddy Invitational in 2004{ this is like the king of the ring of the indies}
held the X Divison/light heavyweight championship for 365 days
TNA- jobber, was voted into to PPVs by viewers
WSX- MTV show, played a cocky heel, worked with X Pac.
Dragon Gate USA- won a light heavyweight tornument, formed a stable
with Jushin Liger & Jack Evans, feuded with Yoshino.

2005- was a commondity every major wrestling company wanted him, he wrestled around the world a bit more and became more of young veteran than he already was.

2007-2008- at OVW the impossible happened he became world heavyweight champion, wrestled
a few matches in FCW against Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler etc

2008- 2009- WWE-ECW, became upper midcarder on ECW
2009-2010- moved to Raw, used as enhancement talent got a few minor victories but nothing noticeable, used as a punching bag for The Miz.
2010-2011- on an episode of Raw where Cena was gone{ at a football game} he challenged Sheamus, he nearly won a #1 contender shot. Jericho, Edge & John cena got behind him, was in the main event-upper midcard status around MITB time but he tore rotator cuff at a house show in Asia in a full throttle match with Rey Mysterio, CM Punk injured him{kayfabe}. Throughout his injury WWE hyped up a CM Punk-Bourne feud using WWE Magazine and WWE.com but as you may know now nothing came of it, it was quickly scrapped.

2011-present- returned beating nemesis Sheamus after Sheamus was burried by Triple H on a table. He got an amazing ovation and showed some great intensity whilst being EXTREMELY happy upon his return.
he's had a pretty good year, being unbeatable on Superstars, jobbing on Raw but getting booked a clean victory against former world champ Swagger on a PPV match. Hit some memorable spots at MITB and became very close to winning the MITB until Miz knocked him off, stealing his limelight once again. Tag Teamed with close pal Kofi Kingston became tag champs, in a championship match tonight.

Michael Gregory Mizanin/The Miz-
Played sports his whole life, was a good student, wrestling fan since he was a kid{ big fan of The Rock} Pursued Business first then he
quit college against his father's wishes, pursued Reality TV against his Dad's wishes, pursued Tough Enough again much to his father's dismay.

Became second runner up in Tough Enough but gained interest from WWE.

Won tag titles in their developemental system, showed promise on the mic and improvement in the ring.

went from diva show host on smackdown to unbeatable heel{ berated by JBL} to ECW superstar with a chick magnet/tool gimmick then a tag champ with John Morrison, then he turned on John Morrison!

US Champion{ twice}, tag team champ multiple times, 2 time slammy winner, Mr. MITB, WWE Champion, Late Night show appearances, baseball games throwing the first pitch, promoting WWE 12, working his ass off for the company.

Both have immense respect for eachother, Miz has mentioned on Late Night shows that his dad is big fan of Evan Bourne, Bourne mentioned in WWE Magazine that he respects how much hard work Miz puts in.
They seem to be cool with eachother, despite polar opposite careers.

Here are my questions-
did WWE make the right choice choosing Miz over Bourne?

If you had a wrestling company who would you chose to push?

Who entertains you more?

who do you like better, who are you fan of more?

Another great thread!
I like Bourne better because believe it or not even when I was a casual fan I still preferred wrestling over slow facial expressions and headlocks.

I would push Bourne because he is far more entertaining and capable of putting on better matches. than miz. As far as how I feel about WWE decision to have miz over Bourne is good buisnness. The majority of the fans enjoy slower more emotional driven storytelling which while I have never enjoyed much gets WWE far more cash than if Bourne was a main eventer doing what haters constantly misspell the word flips with "flipz".

In the end Bourne in my opinion is better than miz but not in WWE's.

They are both good at different things. Bourne is by far better in the ring and can revive a tired crowd at PPV's if he hasn't already been used for the opening match to set the pace of the show. Miz does all sorts of publicity for the federation and is excellent on the mic. Bourne entertains me more in the ring, Miz entertains me more on the mic. While mic skills can be taught, Bourne might never be more than a high flying low carder. Miz has already been a world champion and likely will again. I would push them both, but Bourne would be a tag teamer and midcarder while Miz would make it further up the card if I had a wrestling company because he is more believable than Bourne as a top guy. This is ironic though, since my biggest problem with Miz himself is that I struggle to see HIM as a top guy. He's closer than Bourne to that level though.
