Enzo after Raw went off-air.

I don't understand why Braun had to be there. Obviously it was a way to shit on Enzo but what are you proving now WWE? Making your champion and division look even more ridiculous than it already is.

Again it's cool seeing Braun just lay waste to people but why Enzo? Don't you have something else to be focusing on, like I dunno the world title or Brock Lesnar?

Interesting little segment though to say the least.

Wasn't there a no touch clause? So basically nobody gets a title shot now?

Hopefully this somehow ends 205 Live and Neville can be moved to doing real things.

Enzo is taking his punishment (assuming that is what this is). Hopefully he learns from his mistakes and is welcomed back. The guy can talk and has energy. His in-ring stuff can improve. He can be a manager. There is definitely value in corporate-approved Enzo.

I loved this. Enzo now says no one can challenge him since all the current 205 guys were involved. Well how about bringing in a new guy..... Johnny Wrestling perhaps. put the championship on Johnny Wrestling until Chiampa is healthy and ignite their feud on 205 instead of NXT.

And Braun wrecked Enzo because he did it last week (or was it the week before don't remember), and he liked it so he did it again. Plus Braun destroying miniature people is always awesome so why not have him do it after the show?

Yeah fair call. Never a bad thing seeing Braun kill someone, just with everything considering to me it just seemed like a way to make Enzo look like a goose. I guess if you didn't know what happens backstage then it's not all that glaring or suss.

I get a kick a out of people making the 'punishment' argument. If Enzo is in any way being punished it is in his having to change his character in to a heel. Losing to different guys and getting the fake shit fake beat out of you is not punishment. The guy was used as the main player in Raw and carried the show with three or four segments, one of which was the "main event" and an overrun which is getting more attention than any other overrun that I ever remember. On top of that he is now being featured on a second show and holds their title. These are not punishments.

Again though, what might be a punishment for a guy like Enzo is his heel turn. This may be punishment because it could impact his bottom line. The guy was selling a lot of merchandise for a tag guy who got beat up a lot. He was doing commercial work too. Now that he is a heel, those merchandise sales and commercial work may dry up and cost him in earnings. That is the only way I can see this as a punishment.

Although that Kendrick Airplane Spin was f'n nuts.

You're right, but like Roman Reigns last year, I think you can use it as a bit of an indicator of how the company thinks of you. Roman was god, Roman then gets suspended but comes right back into the main event, oh wait Roman is now taking the falls in those events instead of not taking the fall or just flat out winning altogether. Enzo makes the most money from the CW division, if there is any chance of this division being somewhat succesful it wouldn't help getting rid of your main draw. Set the division up then you can let Enzo go but for now you haven't even tried him so you can't really let him go. Of course through out wrestling history we have seen one guy getting squashed to elevate the next guy. You can't find a better example than lesnar vs Cena at SS. Brock is now on that all time status because he made Cena his bitch (maybe beating Taker at WM had something to do with it as well) but where does any of this play in for Enzo. He didn't make Big cass look any better and I can't think of anyone else that has looked good beating Enzo up.

Sure he is the face of the division, getting main event time and basically plays a character that isn't meant to get any offense in (add in the fact it is fake fighting) but really, week after week Enzo is grtting his ass handed to him and it doesn't benefit anyone anymore and only can hurt Enzo. Might be a bit left field but you gotta try and add logic in somewhere within WWEand this is the only place I can put it.

It's not meant to benefit anyone. It's meant to entertain. Guys like Enzo and Miz get punched in the face and fans love it. Enzo's success has little to do with wins or looking like a competent wrestler. His success has to do with having a character that gets a reaction out of people. He did a great job of that on Monday. WWE is lucky to have a guy like him and did great work with him on Monday. I hope they can keep a solid story going with him because before he showed up the cruiserweights were drowning.

It was meant to get a pop. That's all. It shows you how much they think of Strowman. It also shows you how much WWE is really trying to "force" Reigns as a face.
