Entrance music and Hard Justice..

Vintage

Goin' to da pay windah!!
I was wondering about something that would make Hard Justice something to really remember. Is it remotely possible that the ECW wrestlers can use old entrance themes. I often wonder why sports events use real music but WWE and WCW used self produced music primarily instead of real songs by mainstream artists like ECW did. I'm pretty sure Heyman probably did it underhandedly but perhaps it's a possibility? RVD coming out to Walk one more time would be epic..

I'm pretty sure they half to pay the artist for the rights to use it since their making money off it. Like how WWE used Enter sandman at One Night Stand '05, for The Sandman's entrance but on the DVD version they edit it out say they don't have to pay Metalica. I doubt TNA will pay for the right to the originals. They will probably use knockoffs like they with Hogan's theme.

Agreed with wushady, I can't see TNA flooding out money to pay a bunch of bands for the rights to there songs for a ECW themed PPV. Would it be great? Sure, it would add an old time feel to the PPV but it wont happen, TNA doesn't have that money to waste on washed up ECW guys. ( No offense to the ECW guys. )

My understanding is, and I could be completely wrong on this, is typically the arenas have the rights to use most songs during live events. Whether or not that applies to the impact zone I am not sure, but most arenas pay a licensing fee to use music during sports events. When they release a show on DVD however, they would have to pay for a separate fee for distributing the song. That is why the WWE a lot of times will go back and change songs on DVD from what they originally used. My guess is that TNA will just have their in-house guy make knock off's of the songs that the ECW guys used. Most of them have worked for TNA at some point in the past anyways, so most of them have had songs created for them already. I think Dreamer is the only person announced so far that hasnt had a song made for them in TNA, although the song they came out to on impact may be his, I'm not sure. I know several other ECW guys that so far have not been announced have worked with TNA in the past, such as Sandman, New Jack, Spike Dudley, Shane Douglas, Kid Kash, and Jerry Lynn, so I am sure they have music for them already made up. So while they probably could use their original ECW songs for the PPV, because of the DVD, I think they will most likely just use the songs they have made already.

I think what they going to do is remake all of the entrance music for ECW... if they can do it with Hogan's NWO Music and Wolf-pace theme song and then they can do it with ECW

As long as RVD doesn't come out to that horrible entrance music of his for one night it will be fine. Here is one of the themes of the show. Parade of the Dead by Black Label Society.

Not a bad song by BLS. It would be cool to see Sandman come out to Enter Sandman and RVD come out to Walk, but I seriously doubt that will happen. Maybe Dreamer will come out to a generic Man in the Box song. I predict that is probably what we will see. The ECW guys will probably have some generic metal song for their entrance.

Well the best song (if Sandman doesn't come out to Metallica) will be Raven's imo. He already has good TNA produce song that fits his character unlike the others. I don't see TNA shelving out money to get every guy their orginal theme. The PPV theme will be the most that TNA will probably do as far as music is concern imo.
