Eddie Guerrero's Dark Comica Gimmick

Remember back in 2005 when Eddie Guerrero was feuding with Rey Mysterio when the both of them was on Smackdown? Well if not the storyline was Eddie being jealous of Rey and resorting to stalking his son Dominic. Now storyline wise Eddie revealed that Dominic was his real son and Rey was his fake father. We know thats not true but just a storyline. Now Eddie would go to the play grounds, stalk Dominic everywere he went, even was in his bedroom telling him bedtime stories. I found the storyline and gimmick rather disturbing. I mean WWE went too far on certain aspects of the storyline like Eddie stalking Dominic and in his bedroom telling him stories. Everything esle was fine to me, well match wise, but the entire storyline was creepish. What are you opinions wrestle zonians?

I throughly enjoyed this storyline, and Eddie did a great job of playing this dark character. There were times I felt disturbed by some of things Eddie was doing, such as the stalking, and reading Dominic bedtime stories that you mentioned. This was a great storyline, and the match at Summerlam '05 was pretty good.

Remember the candy he gave Dominic that was not even wrapped from his pants pocket. How nasty was that crap man. I did like when Eddie would just enjoy Rey being in pain and sorrow. Eddie could play a great villian I give you that, he knew how to draw crowd heat. One of the best heels in the wrestling buisness ever.

The Storyline was also the birth of the infamus "I'm your Pappi" T-shirt, he would wear it everywhere and it aparently was a hot seller on WWE.COM.

The fact is as a whole Eddie Gurerro was a great wrestler and one of the best that Smackdown had at the time, he was a diverse character who could keep you on the edge of your seat as a heel, or make you crack up with laughter as a face as what we had previously seen at the Rumble 03 i pressume, could be wrong

Eddie was one hell of a dude. Why can't WWE do that with Santino Marella? Mix his wrestling and comedy together like they did with Eddie Guerrero. Santino can wrestle as what I seen him before WWE he is a good wrestler. If put in the similar situations like Eddie were he can do both wrestle and coemdy he be great.

This storyline made me watch Smackdown,I loved seeing what eddie would do and rey beat him up at the ppv.EDDIE had a talent to get the crowd into anything that he did,it could be promos or wrestleing.

So no the storyline was fine.
