ECW, future talent?

Personally, I think the brand is okay. They have great young talent that put on great matches.
But... should it be called ECW? I think they should change the name of the brand to something that is like RAW & SmackDown! Please post replies with ideas for new names. Personally I believe that this should be a proving ground for hot new talent to show what they are made off. To train the future of the WWE. They can stick to just one belt (change the name obviously), talent trains here, then after a year or so (if they are ready) bump them up to either RAW or SmackDown!
I think this is a good idea personally, but you might not like it. I just think it should be used for young talent to prove themselves until they're ready for the big league's (this is where the draft comes into place). They're slogan can be "The future of the WWE is here and now!" Or something to that effect...

So please leave your replies with your opinions and ideas for a new name for this brand, LOL.

(call me Steve)

P.S I know they are kind of already doing this, but I think it should be made more official. Which is why i'm asking for opinions.

P.S.S I don't want this brand to be a new Heat or something, I mean a proper legit brand.

I agree, I don't think it should be named ECW either, because it's not like the old ECW at all... And they never have any extreme rules matches anyway, and that was the whole point of ECW. I don't really know a good name for it though, I mean if you think it about it, Raw and SD are pretty random names, so it would probably be something random like that... but idk.. As far as the young talent moving up goes, that is the whole point of ECW because it is the "C" show of the WWE. SD being the "B" show and Raw the "A". So I agree with that too.

i agree aswell they do already do it but they should make it official it is just a development farm now though their slgan could be the future is now

I don't care what they call it as long as it continues to be awesome.

Seriously, ECW is my favorite brand right now. It routinely entertains me, which is more than what I can say for the other brands.

It's the fucking name. It doesn't matter, unless it was something completly random which made no sense. I guess, calling it extreme when it's not is random, but meh. It's not like anyone pays attention to the name. No-one who watches the new ECW watched the old, because it's changed. When they first came back, Heyman said it was the 'new' ECW. See, new = not old. So no, it won't all be extreme because it's not meant to be. It's the name, let's move on.

Jeez, calm down Jack. It was just a thought, besides I have two guys above you who disagree. ECW is just a name? It represented the threshold in which, television volience is weighted on today. It stuck it's middle finger up at authority and gave guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin an outlet for their pain and anger. The fact, that now, it is used just as a 'c' brand for rival company who doesn't keep up the old traditions is a joke. I say live and let die, but don't drag the corpes through the dust.

before anyone goes off the wagon the brand will never get a name change, its already been established, it draws numbers, sells tickets and has established talent, ECW will be ECW from here on out, you cannot think that brand will ever get a name change, or will be anything apart from the third brand of the wwe, and as far as changing the name seriously ive seen about a dozen of these threads already why dont we talk about how to enable the brand to expand and become something more outstanding then it already is then keep going on about changing the name or removing the title

There is still hope for a name change though. Think about it, re-naming F-U, STFU. Whatever they can change, they can... Besides, this thred isn't really for the name or anything, it's to talk about ECW as a young wrestler training ground until they get pumped up. Let's stick to that. :-)

I have to say pre-draft, ECW was my fav show out of the 2 weekly wwe shows. Tho Smackdown has improved dramatically now that they have moved superstars around. ECW whilst still very entertaining could have done with a few better drafts that Zack Ryder, Koslov.... only so many times Henry can battle for the tile or Swagger destroying Dreamer etc... Time for Finlay to move on too i think, he has become too stale on ECW/Superstars
