Eating my words, Once a month title.... Like it.

Getting Noticed By Management
People have talked about the WWE doing 3-4 month breaks for the championship matches and I thought that was the dumbest thing ever. Well maybe not worse than Issac Yankem.
This new way of having Lesnar defend the title once a month is kinda nice. Not filling Raw with same old stupid championship matches that you know the champ will win. The percentage of WWE championships lost on Raw I am sure is close to around 10% ( thanks to money in the bank and Injuries). So I think it is nice to seeing these bad matches anymore, I hope this tendency continues.

What are your thoughts?

The WWEWHC is very very rarely defended on Raw anyway so whats your point? I cant even remember the last time we had a match for the title on Raw.

As I read on the internet, this is how the World Title will be booked as long as the network is around and not doing well. You want a World Title match, 9.99. It forces people to buy the network if they want to see the Champ wrestle.

Great new strategy. Fuck most of your fans for subscriptions.

Hulk Hogan almost never wrestled on tv, Austin worked on tv a lot less as champ.

The whole point of PPVs building angles to be culminated where you have to pay to see it.... that's like getting mad at Mirimax for making you go to the movies to see their latest film...

97, 98 and 99 there was always a ppv with a tag main event.. I think 9 title matches help makes the champion seem special.

Royal Rumble, Elimination chamber, TLC and Survivor Series call could get by without a title defense

Understandable, but...

Those four PPVs occur consecutively.

If you don't think it makes sense to have the title defended on free TV, Are you suggesting the title not be defended from October until WrestleMania?

I don't need to see Brock every week. I know how dominant he is and him wrestling each week takes away his mystique. He is, to an extent, a special case but wrestling every week hasn't helped other champs.

Indeed, only three people have wrestled more matches on Raw than Cena and Orton. That shows we have seen these two a lot (too much, perhaps) which leads to them becoming stale. People despise Cena and Orton who has had to change his character many times.

Now, I think WWE are making a concious effort to pair Cena with good wrestlers. It takes two to tango and there is only so much that can be done with low quality workers. Putting him with Cesaro, Wyatt, Rollins allows him to put on a better quality match. If they did that years ago then the myth about Cena not being able to wrestle wouldn't exist.

We don't want Brock to become overexposed. The main belt is hardly ever defended on TV and the champion shouldn't even wrestle each week. If it's the right opponent then fine but in Brock's case there is absolutely no-one. Brock should appear once at least once a month and Heyman can keep doing what he does best.

I think it sucks that the champ never fights on raw and that the current champ only shows up once a month to have his manager speak for him. The champ is supposed to be the top talent on the show, the guy that people wanna see. He should be there, or eventually the product will suffer. Imagine if Peyton Manning only played every 3 games, his team and league would suffer.

I would support taking the number of PPV's a year down to about six. I think that would improve the quality of both ppv's and raw.

Well here's my thing, during Punks year long title reign how long was he the main attraction? Cena is, and will be till something changes, the main attraction regardless as to who the champ is. So long as Cena is on Raw, the "guy people wanna see" will be there.

I like it, you don't see him watering down the appearance of the belt, it only shows up when it needs to. Plus his appearance next raw will hopefully only be to attack Lesnar, if Cena does that it'd be the logical reason why Cena puts up a more balanced fight at Night Of Champions.

And I don't think we know that Lesnar is showing up every PPV yet? Maybe I missed an update saying he was?
