DX are losing the Unified Tag Team Titles & splitting up

Guys after tonight it is safe to assume DX is splitting up for Mania. It could have been more obvious, but it is something I am happy about. DX is a joke they have a leprechaun as mascot and this pg13 thing is not working. Plus Michaels vs Take sounds awesome and who does love a heel Triple H.

Another thing I notice and I might be imagining things, but did DX not come out wearing their tag tiles. Seems like the WWE is gonna take the titles of them and I wonder if those new titles we have hearing about will debut. One last thing is I hope CM Punk & Festus win them. Punk is on a hot streak and another tag title run would be awesome. Especially with the awesome chemistry him & Luke have in the ring.

I am pretty sure that they came out with their titles for their match on Raw, other than that i completly agree with you. Dx does not need the tag titles and I hope they lose them soon to Punk and Gallows.

Im not hating Dx together atm, and dont mind them on raw. So it doesnt make a difference to me if they split up or not. I just want them to lose the tag team titles.

About time. Like you said DX is simply a joke, a joke that does not work in a PG WWE. Hell it wouldn't work in a TV-14 WWE. It's just old. Hopefully we do see HHH as a heel before 'Mania, cuz like you said, who doesn't love a heel HHH (Or hate better yet). Also, i hope they lose to Punk & Gallows as well, they could have some kick ass matches with the Hart Dynasty for the belts (Neither here nor there though) Good riddance to DX.

i agree with you. I like DX as an idea, like they were great before like in 2006 and before shawns injury. But now they're just a bit boring. They've kinda overkilled the idea of them. And they are a joke now, with hornswoggle. that was a stupid idea adding him to the group. he doesnt really do anything for them. im glad they're splitting up before Mania. I disagree with Shawn vs Taker, but im not gunna talk about that coz its not the topic and ill get another annoying spam message. and about heel HHH, ur right. It suits him. so yes i hope they drop the belts soon, to punk and gallows. they're the newest team and if they go on starting their straightedge society, itll make a great starting point.

I agree that yes they will split up in time for Mania. I wouldn't mind seeing HBK being the heel in the split and leaving Hunter as the face. However I just don't think the fans will be able to accept that. It would be a lot like when The Rock was a heel against Hogan, Austin and Goldberg years ago. People just didn't accept him as the heel, they still treated him like a face. The same will happen to HBK if they decide to go that route.

i would personally love to see them split at this royal rumble and spend the months up to mania with shawn basically obsessed over fighting taker, and going apeshit on everyone that gets in the way of that.

I like the idea of DX being a team and having the belts. And with the inevitable split of dx. they may keep them together for a bit but i do agree that they may lose the belts to punk/luke and have a split at or before mania or elimination chamber.

dx being together is not a problem to me and this whole teasing of a break up rr is good i can see maybe hhh throwing hbk out near the end and saying somethink like i told you so but on the other side of the ring have like 4-6 guys trying to get big show out and the refs are there checking shows feet then have hbk sneak back in and throw hhh out.

I think that Festus is a real great character now, but I think this thing with C M Punk is getting really stupid. He was a great talent as a wrestler, but this mockery of GOD is a little stale. The storylines with it are even more "cartoonish" than the silly DX storylines with a leprechaun. Let's get back to WRESTLING before TNA starts looking too much better to watch.

Not sure why there are so many haters of DX....the only segments more watchable are the ones with with either the Miz in them or when someone big come to Raw like the Undertaker or Bret Hart.

The segments with Hornswaggle always get me to chuckle...fwiw...i despised hornswaggle when he was in his story with Chavo. I agreed with y'all on how he should be outlawed. Now, i enjoy seeing him go crazy and HHH treating him as a pet. Its funny stuff.

They might lose the titles at RR, but i do not see a split and feud until after Wrestlemania.


oh yeah...and being a recovering alcoholic myself..those CM Punk segments are freakin awesome...not that i approve of the sober lifestyle for everyone..but how its a total spin off of AA(alcoholics Anonymous)...it really is mocking AA and quite frankly..it cracks me up...Punk plays it to perfection..not sure if the noob should watch the segments..but for someone with many years of sobriety i get a good chuckle out of it.

WWE is putting on a real nice pruduct now a days. Watch one show of TNA and you will really appreciate what they are doing.

As for the Tag Titles they need to be on the waist of Punk & Gallows. A win over Triple H & Michaels would make Punk looke great and help in the development of Luke. Whoever does not like what Punk is doing is crazy. He is a triple crown champion, 3x WHC, ECW Champion & 2x MITB winner. He is amazing on the mic and draws as much heat as Jericho if not more ( I have heard alot more people shouting Y2J now a days). Gallows is pretty good on the mic as well. Punks segment this week One nation under Punk, Indevicible with Integrity and Soberity for all, was freaking awseome.

You say the kid is going to far and that is exactly what I want from a heel. Remember when Michaels super kicked Marty, it made him the star he is and it pushed alot of buttons. That is why when I see Punk pushing buttons and opening topics you dont want to talk about, I laugh and enjoy it. Not some fake gimmick with a leprechaun. No Punk is speaking the truth and being himself. DX was great in its time, they were amazing. But Triple H & Michaels are very well established and do not need one another to get over. They need to pass the torch to a guy like Punk & Gallows who can be this generations Michaels & Diesel.

How will DX lose too easy, Punk & Gallows all the way, they have the perfect combo of brawn(Gallows) & Brain(Punk). Trust me on this as soon as i saw them win on smackdown i immediatly said "DX's days are numbered" and they most certainly is.

I'd be happy with a split, the reformed DX was better than the last run, however these reunions haven't been the best - not terrible but not the best, especially when you compare them to their original run together.

I don't see either of them turning heel as such or betraying, I see Shawn becoming obsessed to the point that he abandons Triple H mid match when the Undertaker starts playing mind games, causing them to lose to Punk and Gallows and the ensuring tension between the two. It could even be a slow burning feud between HBK and HHH leading into Summerslam.

I'd really like Punk and Gallows to take the titles, Punk is golden right now and Gallows is looking far more promising than he has before. Even if they are treading a thin line.

If these two have the gold, than that gives them carte blanche to be on all three brands and continue their cleansing of the WWE Universe.

Im wondering if Punk & Gallows will win with a little bit of help from a new Straight Edge Warrior. Punk should add one more guy to his Straight Edge Soceity & the guy Im thinking is not Bryan Danielson, it is Low-Ki (Kaval).

You see Low-Ki gimmick is about being pure an dthe warrior way and I think he could get his start as one of Punk medians. I would not mind him starting of with Punk and then continuing on his own when the time is write. Just an idea I think could work. It is a fresh idea that can give Low-ki serious character some life.

Well, yes. I don't think anyone thought DX would stay together and be Tag Champs through Wrestlemania, but thanks for clearing that up for us.

The question is how the breakup will be done though. Last night we saw shades of The Game, so maybe HHH is going towards a heel turn? I personally would welcome that, we haven't seen the Cerebral Assassin since 05/06. If HBK wins the Rumble I definitely see HHH turning on him and going heel. Though I don't really see a HBK/HHH feud anytime in the near future. I see DX losing the Tag Titles and HBK/HHH decide to go their own ways with HBK facing Taker at Mania and HHH probably facing Sheamus.

I agree, I don't think their'll fued immediatly after the split, I'd like to see a slow burning tension between them for a while.

I'd also welcome a heel HHH too, we saw shades while he was in a program with Hardy, but not the full on Cerebral Assassin. It'd difficult to turn HBK heel these days but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, especially as he becomes more and more obsessed with Taker.

Maybe have DX lose the titles becasue of HBK's obsession, Taker retains against Rey, HBK is all fired up for winning the Rumble and getting his shot at Taker, then HHH costs HBK the Rumble win, but try and keep HHH face by saying it's an intervention or something and have HBK just go completely batshit insane. It may be a bit too much too soon though, and like I said, I'd rather have a slow build with HHH/HBK.

a few things, first of all Dx definitely works on the tvpg show, because over time suck it has become tv-pg! They dont need to include sex and cursing to be funny and entertaining. And hornswoggle is there to sell merchandise to kids, plain and simple. So i doubt they will be breaking up Dx for quite some time. They might wrestle individually, might even face each other, but Dx will stay together.

As for what they do with the belts, well maybe wwe will reinstitute two sets of tag belts again, with a tournament on each show leading up to wrestlemania. Why should smackdown have the champs and not raw?

Finally, should hbk and hhh feud again my guess is that last year's survivor series was the benchmark for the feud. unlike 2004, hhh will be the face and Michaels the heel.

Raw last night def got us thinking about the dx split. I hope Triple H goes heel. Hell I think at this point, he's def going heel. I hope they don't face off at Wrestle Mania because they could both put someone over ( lol that won't happen ever) or face someone else to give us two high profile matches instead of one.

As for the tag titles, they may be dropped at the Rumble and IMO, I hopped they are dropped ASAP. The tag titles seemed to be on the rise somewhat with Jerishow and it needs to be saved from DX. DX really has done NOTHING with the titles. They've defended them against Jerishow in rematches and that's it.

DX really should put Legacy over for the titles or at least drop them so they can go back to their normal shows. PG DX are woeful to say the least and are an insult to the original TV DX as they were bigger than any faction in the attitude era

D-Generation X would be one HELL of a feud, and could really help elevate the porous tag division. two controversial figures, known together as this kind of Party Happy, Prank pulling , adolescent humor type guys. Vs CM Punk's Bid to Create a "better" world without alchol or drugs.

The feud basically writes itself, and while I don't think the Tag division will ever be something more then a place for midcarders and main eventers on "break" from the title picture, I really think they could build one HELL of a tag division with some of the up-coming teams.

Not to mention the Hart Dynasty Vs DX is another feud I really WANT to see. I think it would be great.

I totally agree with what you are saying, buy the WWE just made the Hart Dynasty look like crap at tonights WWE tapings.

As for the tag titles we have not seen them as much on TV and I think the WWE is gonna make DX dump them soon. DX vs The Straight Edge Society would be great, but WWE can make Punk take advantage of a crumbling DX and make him look even more credible. Plus with all the reports of a possible Michaels retirement why not have Punk gain a win before he is done, steal his title and make Punk gain even more credibility. Punk winning the tag titles opens the doors to him being on all three shows. He can continue to save addicted souls and probably add to his SE Society. Shoot why not have an actual stable on all your shows. DX has made one appearance on Smackdown since winning the titles, they have never been the same since Michaels devoted himself to religion and the leprechaun is not working. The WWE needs to give their top heel what deserves the oppurtunity to be on a all the shows and a title. I say give Punk the titles, have him on the two big shows and make what already is a monster heel an even bigger heel.

The Cerebral Assassin, a heel Triple H is what we need im sick of his stupid segments with Hornswoggle, keeping Dx together is also dragging down Shawn Michaels from having those awesome feuds that he has as a single wrestler that most of the time makes the wrestle come out of the feud a main eventer or soon to be. Imagine The Miz feuding with Shawn Michaels= awesome. As for Triple H i miss his heel promos and beatings stuff like that we need Dx ti split.

I couldnt help but notice that people really wanna see heel hhh. something i would kill for in wrestling right now (not lierally ofcourse) is a heel hbk...who doesnt miss his heel promos? and it would be a great change from the goody two-shoe, hollier then thou bull crap that we get atm.

and as far as dx goes, let it go already, first off the pg dx mix doesnt work out and this gimmick is dinosaur era old now....its just dragging on too much and as all good things must come to an end and so should this before it gets too old and stale.
