I've been wanting to make this thread for a while, and I just got the gaseous inspiration from a fine bowl of fresh greens.
I see many music threads on rock and metal, country and pop, and all the other more popular genres of music. I have a feeling there are a few fans of Dubstep out there, especially with the base of UK posters on this board.
For those who don't know what Dubstep is, I'll do my best to explain. Electronic, Dance, Heavy Bass. For the more music savvy here is what Wiki has to say about Dubstep:
I Recently (within the last 4 months or so) heavily got into this music, I really enjoy all aspects of dubstep, the build up to the huge bass drops, the classic dub sounds, you can run and dance to the music just as much as you can sit back and relax to it.
I would like to hear from some dubstep fans out there, as to what your listening to, any up and coming dubstep DJ's, or just your favorite dubstep artist.
I'll start with one my favorites, Rusko.
Jahova is my favorite Rusko track, a true work of art, this song will give me the chills under the right circumstances.
William H. Tonkers is another fine example of Rusko's unique style of Dubstep, A top 5 favorite of mine.
This is one of the more popular dubstep tracks out there, I could go on posting Rusko's work all day, But I would love to hear what everyone else is listing to, If anyone else is enjoying the art of Dubstep.
I will be posting many more Dubstep artists and their songs, hopefully there's a few dubheads out there.
* On a side note Dubstep + and Marijuana just seem to go hand in hand, as does Marijuana and all music for that matter.

Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that has its roots in London's early 2000s UK garage scene. Musically, dubstep is distinguished by its 2-step rhythm, or use of snare sounds similar to 2step garage and grime, and an emphasis on bass, often producing "dark" sounds, but just as frequently producing sounds reminiscent of dub reggae or funky US garage. Dubstep tracks are generally produced at a tempo of around 140 beats per minute and in recent years have developed signature half time rhythms, often heavily shuffled or syncopated, and usually, though not exclusively, including only one snare drum hit per bar, often on the third beat. Such factors make dubstep rhythms markedly different from four-to-the-floor rhythms used in other styles of electronic dance music such as house music, which usually have two snare hits accompanying the second and fourth kick drum. Often, the sense of rhythm in dubstep is propelled more by the bassline than by the percussive content.
