Dreamer's DDT

On ECW last night I saw something that made me realize something Dreamer's DDT is almost always kicked out of even though it's a finisher. what triggered this thought you might ask Finlay kicked out of the DDT on his own then pinned Dreamer shorlty after. which led me to remember that Swagger kicked out of it in an ewtreme rules match and then put dreamer through a table. Is this it for dreamer i mean his finihser is barely one. And he can't use teh dreamer driver becaseu it looks like the attitude adjuster.

the thing is Dreamer is a complete under dog and is made to look weak even though he is the highest drawing main eventer on ecw believe it or not, the guy has the one thing that keeps his fan based maintained and is naysayers at bay and that is passion, you can see it watching the promos, you can feel it watching his matches, even vince is stumped on how dreamer still maintains a strong fanbase even though he has been reduced to jobber status, the guy is something of an enigma in regards to his status in ecw, so what does creative do with him, they make him look weak time and time agani, its a pity i would of loved to see him get one solid run with the ecw title before he retires but alas that may never happen

Tommy Dreamer's DDT looks very devastating, but I have realized that it is always kicked out of. It's similar to Maryse and Lita's DDT and they would damn near ''kill'' their opponents. I do not like Tommy Dreamer's current storyline because even when he looks like he's at the top of his game... he loses. I thought he could have won the ECW Championship Chase match, but nope. I'm disappointed and hope that he will be able to win the ECW Championship.

Thanks. I believe that is just before ONS if the date's right so hopefully Dreamer gets a run before retiring and idk which would be better, Dreamer gaining the tittle at ONS or he passes the torch to someone younger like Swagger to lead the brand as the face.

Well I don't really see a DDT as a finisher, because it's a move that almost every wrestler does. So, I really don't think Dreamer's DDT is all that great and i'm not really surprised that people can kick out of it. It's probably one of the weakest finishers, in my opinion.

well the thing with this is that like Kane, he really doesn't want to win "the big one" anymore, actually, Dreamer never even wanted the ecw world title in the first place, and he wants to be remembered as sort of a perennial loser, he actually would just prefer to put over younger talent than anything else..

Dreamer's ddt has never really been a strong finisher. As far back as I can remember even to the old ecw days unless it was a jobber/lower midcarder more often then not they kicked out of the ddt at least once.

Dreamer has been the under dog character since he debuted more or less. It took years of him getting screwed out of it to finally win the big one, then he lost it 30 minutes later. But that doesn't change the fact that back in the old ECW he was one of the hardest hardcore badasses
