DREAM MATCH: Mr perfect vs kurt angle

When Perfect return during 2002 this was the one match I really wanted to see him work. It could have been money for sure and the match could have been huge. I know Kurt Angle may have gone over which is ok but the feud itself could have been set up so well.

It’s a shame really

Good one. I think that match would have had to happen at WM. Yes I agree Angle would have to go over and the set up would have been Perfect (pun intended) and an overall all time Mania match, but all we have is the dream

I love this idea.

I can just picture Kurt Angle kicking out of the Perfect Plex and Mr Perfect kicking out of the Angle Slam. It could have been Match of the Year knowing these 2 performers.

This match has happened the niht after the Royal Rumble Mr.Perfect faced Kurt Angle in probably his last great match, and the match was only 7minutes or so but throughout that seven minutes the match was entertaining and (pun inteneded) Perfect... The next 3 months Perfect would then become a jobber sort of speak and even had a fight on a plane coming back from European tour with Brock Lesnar which eventually led to his release.... But even though it wasnt a feud it was a great match and i wish i could find it on youtube but since the recent relationship with WWE and youtube i doubt its there still...

That wouldve been a great match. Sadly my last memory of mr perfect is him getting the stink face from rikishi at WMX8. That was his last "wrestlemania moment" for me. Ouch.

Wasn't that during the Royal Rumble match itself? To be fair, we're talking about a 1 on 1 encounter, not a brief battle during the Rumble. Good find none the less! After watching that video, I really miss Mr. Perfect.

Actually they NEVER had a match. The raw after RR was Perfect vs Val Venis. Cant people ever do research before putting stuff that is untrue? They did however as others have said had a lil go at it in the Rumble.

A Perfect Vs Angle match would have been great. It would have been nothing but back and forth action. A fast paced with lots of great maneuvers. Too bad for dumb ass Lesnar gettin in the face of a legend and they let Henning go. We could have seen one of the best matches ever with Mr Perfect Vs. Kurt Angle

I had to admit i marked out like HELL when mr perfect was in the ring with AUSTIN HHH AND KURT ANGLE, i was just thinking about all the fueds that couldve happened,

I believe that if WWE made this the main event of say, SummerSlam 2002, Curt Hennig would still be alive and well, and possibly still wrestling. Everybody wanted to see the two American heroes go against each other. If Curt was not in WCW in 2000, i think this match would have already happened, for Angle's WWF Championship.

If that match had happened, i wouldve loved to see perfect win the wwf championship for the first time and have that as his only title reign.


or even better, have perfect win the title of someone else (rock perhaps? this would be a another dream match) and then kurt goes over perfect, kurt wins his first wwf title from mr perfect, that would be amazing..
