Does WWE really love big wrestler

ASKane

Championship Contender
We have all seen reports over recent months concerning Bryan being to small and that Vince loves the bodybuilder guys but booking says the complete opposite. In the last year WWE has made big talents look like idiot, examples

Big Show - Cried repeatedly, mocked about the fact he may die early, he is not satisfying his wife and he has worn a nappy

Ryback - Cryback

Kaitlyn - Crying

Titus O'Neill - Puking up thanksgivings dinner

Tensai - Worn lingerie, became a jobber and Danced like an idiot

Brodus Clay - Danced like an idiot, became a jobber and called himself a main event playa and then 2 weeks after disappeared for a few months

Tamina - AJ's human shield

Khali - Still Dancing and increased role as a jobber

Big E Langston - IC champion but still loses more than he wins

Mark Henry - Good Santa

Kane - Corporate Kane

Conclusion - Despite WWE showing love for Big Men/Women they consistently use them for comedic purposes and make them look like idiots or just weak and their are only 3 that have survived them atm and they are Harper, Rowen and Reigns.
This booking either shows that:
WWE doesn't like the bigger superstars,
They have terrible bookers
Or the show is just to focused for kids and they add to many comedy segments (my pick)

Your thoughts on the treatment/booking of bigger superstars despite this preserved belief that WWE prefers superstars to be bigger

I think WWE and you have different definitions of the word big. WWE wants muscle men, not just people a certain height or weight. Superstars like Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, Sheamus, HHH, Reigns, Langston are who WWE considers big muscular guys and they push them that way.

Ok then. I already said Reigns is yet to be made to look an idiot, Cena is the top guy so they wouldn't make him look stupid and I already talked about Langston.

Brock - Made to look a pussy and be scared of Big Show despite being one of the only true fighters and bad asses in the company

Orton - Pussy champions who begs for help on a weekly basis

HHH - Not a wrestler anymore

Sheamus - He hasn't had much bad recently so it is only him Reigns, Cena, Harper and Rowen who have had nothing done to them in a company full of big guys

Big Show - Cried repeatedly, mocked about the fact he may die early, he is not satisfying his wife and he has worn a nappy

Winning the majority of his matches as of late, being booked in a way to look like a legitimate threat to Lesnar, and having a two month program with the WWE Champion.

Ryback - Cryback

A near 8 month winning streak which went on for almost another 2 months after in all situations outside of title matches, which despite losing he came away from looking stronger as a result of shady tactics and outside interference. Currently in a slump as a (possible/supposedly reported) issue of massive backstage heat.

Titus O'Neill - Puking up thanksgivings dinner

Recently split up with Darren Young. Could end up in a push or a release, difficult to say yet.

Big E Langston - IC champion but still loses more than he wins

More loses than wins? Langston has won 16 of his last 20 (21 if you include the Royal Rumble) televised matches.

Mark Henry - Good Santa

So the fact that he's a face and plays the santa gimmick once means he's being booked to look like an idiot? Has only lost 3 matches since August of last year, and has won 36 of his last 50. For those keeping track at home, thats an over 70% win rate since early/mid 2012. Not to mention the greatest performance of his career back in mid/late 2011.

Brock - Made to look a pussy and be scared of Big Show despite being one of the only true fighters and bad asses in the company

Welcome to being a heel. Particularly a heel that is actually smaller than the guy coming after you. And then proceeds to beat the living hell out of the guy he's supposedly scared of. On top of going over the longest reigning champion of the modern era in CM Punk, going over HHH twice, and damn near going over the face of the company in John Cena, up until a supposed last minute change to the plan.

Orton - Pussy champions who begs for help on a weekly basis

Once again, welcome to being a heel. They obviously have faith in him, or else they would not have kept the belt on him so long even though its obvious that Daniel Bryan is a million times more over than he is.

HHH - Not a wrestler anymore

Not an active wrestler, maybe. But he still wrestled four matches last year, which comes pretty close to some that are still signed to active contracts. (Hey, does anyone remember that JTG guy?)

Now, by your supposed logic, the character playing a goof is an indication that the company isn't high on them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Cena frequently fit that bill?

The WWE did not create pro wrestling. Big guys have dominated pro wrestling since before WWE was even a company. The sport has always been for huge guys because it needed to seem real and seem like these guys could beat up any Joe off the street. Of course it is different now because everyone knows its fake but some things just never change. Pro wrestlers will always be big guys, with few exceptions. Even the guys that people call small like HBK, were still bigger than your average guy.
