despite the fact that the internet fans have seemingly turned on him the same way they turn on everybody who gets de-pushed.

They're called marks, my friend.

Even some people who read dirtsheets and think they're smart to whats going on but still fall for WWE's marketing machine. They're the same people who think John Cena's the best wrestler in the world, just because they've been told that. The same people who suddenly hate CM Punk because he quit and Triple H took digs at him on TV. The same people who defend The Rock and Batista's current run because WWE glosses over the fact that they are shells of their former selves.

The Miz was horrible in his main event push. He had one of the worst Wrestlemania matches with Cena (hard to do!) ever. Don't blame his de-push on anyone and just accept the fact that it didn't catch on. Why risk overexposing his flaws by keeping the spotlight on him? Let him find his spot and try to move up the ladder once more.

I swear some people in the IWC will make up anything just to hate on Cena and HHH.

O wait, I'm supposed to think critically. Okay, um, Miz isn't over. He doesn't get over. Not main event level over. They tried, it didn't work. I've been at house shows where he absolutely blows the roof off with a promo, but that's where it stops and that was before his Wrestlemania with Cena. I don't hear a pop with Miz. I didn't hear it when he was at the top. Time to give someone else a shot.
