Well, sorry but you're wrong. I'm not talking about the MVP of recent WWE who was being held back, the WWE was well known about doing nothing with because he didn't fit into the PG era, and who was turned into a one catch phrase mid-card jobber. I'm talking about the MVP of years ago who came into the WWE and who was United States Champion several times for long durations. He was quite good on the mic when he was given time during that period, and was given feuds and a story. He was one of the most over guys on Smackdown as a heel and should've been pushed towards the World title then. He's still, even now, hugely over with the crowd so I think you're negativity towards him is very biased and not very true. You devalue MVP's charisma and his ability on the mic, but the facts are he's as good if not BETTER then Matt Morgan, RVD, the Pope, AJ Styles, Kazarian, James Storm, Jay Lethal, Abyss... and that's a very big chunk of the roster and guys either being pushed to the main event or former World champions in TNA. That proves my point right there. And MVP's certainly over and would be in TNA more then a lot of those guys, too.
Bobby Lashley was booed by TNA fans because he sucks. He was never over in the WWE, even though they shoved him down everyone's throat. Why would he be over in TNA for lacking ability, clearly lacking charisma, and being horrible on the mic. None of those things are anyway similar to MVP was and is over with fans, who does have character and ability in wrestling.
I totally agree with you that TNA doesn't and they shouldn't hire every WWE wrestler that's released. What they should do is hire those who have potential to help their product into the future, and who could become stars for the future. Not past their prime stars who already had their time, but guys who never got used to their full potential by the WWE and still have something to give. MVP is no different then Anderson in that regard, and both of them could b assets to TNA's future if TNA had sense and would actually start focusing on building younger stars and building for the FUTURE of their company, not just the present. Not just quick fixes for NOW.
And a great deal of TNA's roster could be cut to be replaced by MVP, because there's a lot on TNA's roster who either shouldn't be there or bring nothing lasting to the table. MVP would, simple as that.
MVP certainly cuts a better promo then the CURRENT TNA Heavyweight champion. And he's already been in jail, so they might have that in common, too!
