Do you swear to much?

The Rob

Telling me I'm invincible..
Fuck yeah, all the fucking time. I get in trouble alot at home and at College for swearing. I kinda need to tone it down if I'm honest... but fuck it.

My use about as much fowl language in "real life" as I do on here, so yeah I likely swear too much, though I imagine I'll prolly be toning it down a bit in the near future as the friend I'm moving in with has 2 yr. old daughter who repeats everything she hears:lmao:

"swear" words are stupid anyway. Who was it that designated these words as being "bad" ?? on whose authority was this done?? Did Jesus say "fuck, shit, bitch, ass, damn are all BAD words..."

please direct me to this. Words are just words, all the same. Words only have as much power as you give them.

Yeah I do but I don't swear at people though. I'll say things like "fuck, that was a shit movie" or something like that but I don't usually tell people to get fucked or whatever.

Glad to see someone else thinks this way. I always ask myself the same thing "Who the hell deemed what words are bad or not?".

I swear all of the time, I don't see a problem with it. I have a tendancy to accidentally do it in front of small children, which is a bit out of order.

I'm too much of an intellectual snob to swear very much.

They pop up a fair bit in my writing though... although even then, it's almost never used towards someone.

I don't smoke, I don't drink and I don't swear...

Fuck i left my smokes at the pub.

Epic!!!

But, seriously though, I have been known to yell a few expletives from time to time (and by time to time, I mean from minute to minute.) It's a bit bothersome at work, when little kids are in the dining room (I work at a pizza place, with an open kitchen). Hell, a couple years ago on St. Patty's I told one of my bosses, who's also a friend, to fuck off.No, wait, I yelled it in front of customers. I'm still tryin' to figure out how I still have a job. I will not, however, swear in mixed company. That's just not classy.

thats actually a "problem" in Aus right now. The prime minister said a word. not aimed at anybody but swore on television. now people want him punished. He is only a person.

I think the word was shit.

Really? That's all he said is "shit", in passing, and people are all riled up about it? And I thought America was the only fascist state when it came to broadcasting! Seriously, as long as he wasn't callin' somebody a little shit or something like that, I can't see where the problem arises.

=\\ I dont cuss any, much at all. If you dont include the word bastard. But yeah, the one time I've said a curse word in like the past 5 months, my teacher sent me to the office and thinks im a "bad egg" T_T How fail.
