Do WWE Researchers read wrestling forums?

Do you think it's likely that WWE has researchers who read Wrestling forums? Because things never seem to turn out the way people on forums or rarely do. So with that said, could they use the forums for ideas?

the WWE does have people reading certain high profile websites... not ones like this though, they check stuff like prowrestling.net and websites like that, as is displayed on their 'Industry News' section of the WWE website.

but no they don't have people searching through all the little ones like this, its mostly the major ones that they keep an eye on.

They have a general idea of what goes on on wrestling websites. We know this because Vince seems to know when spoilers are released onto the internet.
But in terms of the great ideas people on internet websites come up with to make WWE better? As much as they may want to use those ideas, Vince would never have it.

If Disco Inferno, Paul Bearer & Chris Masters post here I'd be inclined to think that this is true.

If WWE used this forum for ideas, then dear God, WWE would be like TNA. Or worse, with the talent at their disposal, WCW. Eek.

Most forum posters like to think they come up with ideas. But what's sad is that very few do. It's sad because there are so many of us and most of us spend out life watching whatever shit wrestling is put on TV nad we couldn't come up with better.

I have seen Wrestlezone pieces occasionally mentioned on Industry News. I think this site is a pretty high-profile wrestling site ... especially if they are able to attract columnists like Kevin Kelly and Mark Madden.

after watching raw last night, i think they might. just look at the miz promo. also there was a thread debating mickey james weight, and then they had jared from subway as the ring announcer? lol. if they got that idea from here that would be awesome.

I think so, everytime something is said on sites they try to do the opposite or take opinions like Nate said. So i think they do.

There's one BIG thing that the WWE have done this year that leads me to think that they pay attention to this site... Taker v HBK at Mania.

Have a search around this site, I can recall this time last year, or even before then, posters pleading and begging to see that match at Mania, myself included.

It may be coincidence and a stab in the dark, but I truely think the IWC had a little to do with that match coming about. It would be naive for WWE to not keep their eyes on sites as large as this one, I'm sure Disco Inferno said TNA had a look on this site from time to time, but not 100% sure.

Isn't the whole reason Christian is not the one behind all Jeff Hardy's "accidents" beacuase the IWC got hold of it, someone from wwe noticed it was all over the internet so hot shotted HArdy into the angle? that would suggest that the WWE does read this stuff... also didnt they referecne the fact that we all thought Kennedy was gonna be McMahon's son when he was suspended instead?

Vince had been planning that match for years... he didn't get the idea of it from a wrestling website, the build for that match started the year Undertaker won the Royal Rumble.
