Do u think John Cena would still get a push if brock lesnar was there?

Yes, I do. And I think that Cena would have still been the number one guy in the company. Lesnar would be number two, and if there's anyone who probably wouldn't have been pushed as strongly with Lesnar around, it's Batista. Cena and Orton were basically handpicked to be stars long before they knew Lesnar wouldn't be around for the long haul, so I really do think those two would be in pretty much the same spots that they are now. But Batista is basically a not-as-good version of Lesnar, and I think HHH/Lesnar would have probably been Mania 21's main event had he stuck around. So I think Big Dave was the one that lucked out here, he could have easily just been another Mark Henry, Kozlov, or Ezekiel Jackson, but instead he became one of the top guys in the WWE's modern era, and I think much of that can be attributed to the WWE losing their big "monster"-type star. Lesnar, Cena, and Orton were gonna be "the guys" of this era regardless.

I think he still would be where he is today. He didn't win the WWE title for another year, but they did start pushing him up when Lesnar was still there. Lesnar was a heel the majority of his wrestling career. So Cena would of probably taking the title from him at Wrestlemania 21. If anything JBL probably wouldn't of had the long title reign he had if Lesnar was still there.

I honestly can't see Brock Lesnar having an negative impact on John Cena's position at all. Lesnar was a monster heel and if anything he would have made Cena look even better.

Cena is a natural in the ring and especially on the mic (if they ever let him loose), so I don't think that anyone could have or would have got in his way. With Jeff Hardy gone, Cena is the face of the WWE today.

no doubt about it cena would have received a push, had the look, had the mic skills, marketable, was a pretty good wrestler @ the time....hell he feuded with face lesnar @ BL '03 where he actually received some cheers, and had his run-ins with him and lesnars crew after he went face...if lesnar stayed i doubt it would have had much effect on the younger stars @ the time, had he stayed i think we dont see JBL or Eddie Guerrero as champion though

Cena would have been pushed with or without Lesnar being there. I stopped watching wrestling around the time all this was happening so I don't recall much but in hind sight I would have loved to see a big Wrestlemania match with the two of them for the title. I think if Lesnar would have stayed Cena would have received a bigger push though just for the fact that Lesnar would have needed new people to feud with since he pretty much ran through every main eventer at the time.

It was obvious they saw something in Cena early on. Usually green jobbers don't have their television debut in a match with Kurt Angle. Let alone look good in the debut. No matter who was in the main event at the time, Cena was in line since the beginning. You can tell just from the way they booked him. You can look at Angle himself and see the similarities between the early booking of Cena and himself. When they see it in you, you're set from the start, barring the wrestler ruining it for themselves. Lesnar was never a factor in Cena's push. If you think he was then you would have to think that no new champions would ever be crowned until the former champion had left/retired. Clearly that's not the case, so that alone should tell you that Brock had no effect on Cena's career.

I agree JBL probably wouldn't have been champion, but Eddie had beat Lesnar for the belt. They had to take the belt off him to face Goldberg in a inter promotional match at Wrestlemania 20.

idk man, if Lesnar decided not to leave in the first place, I would imagine he still would have been champ, and have him and Angle feud and have a rematch @ WM; unless WWE knew that Lesnar would be leaving around the time of the rumble (rumble is the where the feud between the two begins)
