I think there's a reason why guys like Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff, and Hulk Hogan have made negative comments about the internet wrestling fans. And there's also a reason Vince completely ignores us (when he's not having Michael Cole make fun of us with at Daniel Bryan and Kaval's expense). They all respect the internet wrestling fans, but they don't take outside opinions. Because as much as we like to think we're a big deal in the industry...we're not. We're actually the minority. Because if we weren't, WWE wouldn't have lowered its ratings to capture a younger audience. Vince is a businessman, and if the internet fans had the majority opinion, that's who he'd be trying to please. But we don't buy his product...and that's what counts.
Do I think we ruined Christian's career...? No. Do I think Christian ruined his career? Not really. It's well known that Vince has never been high on Christian. He put up with him because he's a huge friend of Edge, and that's about it. He never considered Christian a big moving part of the whole TLC angle. And when he left the company and wound up in TNA, he pretty much sealed his fate. I think Vince hired him back because he's a good worker, makes him a decent amount of money, gets a positive reaction...and he could teach the locker room a lesson by putting him in ECW and letting him rot there as the "champion who doesn't matter". Now he's on Smackdown...and I really don't see him going anywhere. We didn't ruin Christian. Christian didn't ruin Christian. For some reason...Vince has just never been a huge fan.
