Does anyone ever feel sad watching Dick Clark's New Year's Eve special? He's so rigid, lifeless, propped up. It's disgusted that ABC insists on carting him out anymore, it's upsetting that Clark doesn't value his image enough to just stay home. I don't know why he shows up anyway or why ABC puts him on the air. Today's generation has no clue who he is.

He'd be better off dead rather than having to suffer this indignity every year.

The man should just be allowed to be given his rest. I'll never forget him saying "When the cock hits midnight" and "Happy Dew Year!" a couple of years ago.

I assumed the same exact thing. Thank God he's not dead yet.

Anyway, I love the guy! Even though I am only 15 years old, I've already grown used to seeing Dick Clark every New Year's Eve. When I turn to ABC to watch, "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve", I tune in to see him. And also any hot celebrities, I like (Like Fergie, Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna, and many more). It saddens me every year to see him no longer the man I had grown used to seeing. His stroke really messed up his character, and I guess it's important for ABC to continue to showcase him for as long as they are able to.
