Deuce to RAW

The most pointless draft pick yet, UNLESS, this comes complete with a gimmicj change, then it could be really good stuff. Did you know this guy is Jimmy Snuka's son? With the rumoured second generation stable, this guy could be the tough guy of the group, I'm assuming that's why he's been moved to Raw, otherwise it'll probably be a pretty rubbish move, with him just jobbing on a regular basis, if he gets on TV at all.

well with Smith going to smackdown, it would seem like quite the logical guess that he will be Ted's partner now, and will be an intresting fit, if he gets the correct gimmick change as Keeping him as the 50's greease ball will be completly pointless and has gotten rather boring in my opinion

WWE breaks up yet another Tag Team. I thought the resurgence of Tag Team wrestling as of late was a good sign that the Tag Team Division was coming back to being more than trash, but obviously with the breaking up of Tag Teams as of late, I guess I would be wrong. Deuce to Raw doesn't seem like much of a switch with his current gimmick, but I know the guy has talent. It would be nice to see him shed the greaser gimmick and come in with something fresh. He could be in the Intercontinental Title picture within the year if booked correctly.

I predicted this last Saturday. With the break up of his team, and Ted Dibiase having a mystery partner it was obvious to me. D.H. Smith is a jobber. At least Deuce is a former tag champion. He's not terribly credible, but more so than Smith. But either way there will be a collective groan when he comes out at NOC.

Jake is probably right. Otherwise I cant see him being anything. I mean, RAW has too many other guys that need time gven to them, so unless he is going to be part of something bigger, this is useless for them, and bad for him. The part of this that fires ME up, is now, D&D is fully broken up, and Domino is free to become whatever he can. Ive been touting this guy's skills for months now, and I cant wait to see if they use him.

I'm conflicted on this one. On one hand he's got potential, on the other he doesn't know how to use it. Like said before me, with Smith going to Smackdown i'm getting nervous that Duece will be Dibiase's tag partner. God I hope thats not the case, but he would serve useful in the new second generation stable they are talking about. I'll wait to see how this plays out.

Hold a second,Deuce is drafted to Raw now, how are they going to use him?I have a feeling they will use by teaming him with Paul London or DH Smith. Most likely Paul London, imagine that a brawler and a high flyer.

Once again, this is merely filling in the roles of that of jobbers. Raw already has way too many top stars to even assume Deuce would become anything other than a jobber.

The most Deuce could hope for right now is teaming up with a former Tag Team member who doesn't have a partner. Might I suggest Charlie Haas, who's recently been getting a push of sorts. Deuce and Charlie don't strike fear in my mind.. or even make me want to watch them, but at least it'll pair two guys up.. create a team.. and add that team to a very weakened division.

2nd generation stable yes good move, dibiase's partner? HUGE let down, i didnt no it was snuka's son til i saw on internet and my dad talked about snuka alot so i really would like to see what this guy can do, but if he doesnt drop the greasers gimmic, i think hell just be a jobber

There will indeed. A horrible idea, but they're going to do it. Ghastly. Deuce and Domino were simply shite on Smackdown. Not that great in the ring, annoying gimmick, rather bland. I can't see Deuce and DiBiase as being any better. More evidence that WWE simply don't care about having decent tag-teams any more, their creative work in this department is just so sloppy.

A bad move. This guy was basically a jobber on Smackdown! Just imagine the horrible role he is going to get on Raw. I thought ECW would have been the best place to put Deuce. ECW needs more talent and could utilize Deuce more and better than what Raw will.

Its official Deuce is now an official Raw jobber. Sad, as I don't mind him but on the other hand, I am not a huge fan either.

When I first saw that Deuce was drafted to Raw, it immediately crossed my mind that he might be a member of the next gen stable. I knew that he was the adopted son of Jimmy Snuka, so it makes sense to put him in there. He can be the brawler of the group. Though I don't see him being TDII's partner, I still think Rhodes has a heel turn and joins up with TDII. And then Deuce is just the inforcer of the group.

Hey guys whats going on? I dont really join in on the forums om the type to jsut watch and laugh at all these discussions theres no need for and intro cause i really want to bring up 2 points about the trade specifically the supplemental draft
ok her i go........first ah man and here i thought i was the only one u know i was jsut seconds away from literally yelling this form the rooftops...all i hear is that this was useless trade and nothing is gonna come out from it, well it would look like that to the average fan but everyone really forgot that this guy could b part of the 2nd coming stable and point 2 didnt they say tj wilson was looking good and almost ready to b brought up to main roster? im just saying and kudos on whoever can put the 2 and 2 together.
well atleast thats what i think and so would the wwe if they have those smart over paid writers make things happen.ok then thats all i have to say thanx and im gonna b posting more
not that it matters idk its summer shit i get loneley haha ok then peace.

Ok, there are 2 ways that this could go for Deuce. Well, besides that, this is pretty pointless and it breaks up one of the few credible tag teams.

Ok, route 1 for duece. The jobber route. He will either just turn into a jobber, and have some pointless matches, maybe he will act as a mid carder and have some credibility. He might come as close as getting in a decent fued with someone. But other than that he would get nowhere.

Route 2. He actually becomes credible. With Domino being squashed, its obvious that he isn't the one in the team getting pushed. So if Duece does get pushed, he will probably loose the 50's greese. He might get to the IC title.

Whatever happens with him, I won't care overly.

I'm not really a fan of this draft pick. It works as far as splitting the team up. That was bound to happen. But, the point is, they were fighting. They weren't getting along. Splitting them up through the draft robs us of a feud that seemed inevitable, and that just seems wrong to me. From a business standpoint, it makes sense. From a fan standpoint, not as much.

I'm a fan of this move. It seems that every single draft pick has people saying "mid card push", and this one is no exception. While I can't realistically ever see him winning the IC title, I think Deuce will be pushed as a legitimate singles wrestler.

A few weeks ago Deuce and Domino won with the help of Maryse, but then she disappeared I think this is because creative wanted to speed up the break up of the two so that they'd be split by the time of the draft, and one could be sent elsewhere, presumably for some sort of push. Judging by Kozlov's destruction of Domino, it isn't going to be him, so I think Deuce will get a small singles push.

If not, then the only reason for this draft pick is that so they do not have to give tv time to a feud between Dece and Domino, which would be tedious at best.

The only credible thing for Duece now would be to have him cost Hardcore Holly his rematch with Rhodes and Dibiase, then he could join the stable and from there he maybe gets a midcard/IC title push, if the group had a mouthpeice Duece could act as the teams bruiser.

That would be a good idea. This could be a stable of second generation wrestlers ala Rhodes/Snuka/Dibiase. Although each of them needs more time to develop I think before they make a stable. I can't think of any other second generation wrestlers on RAW that could join them..Perhaps Orton as the leader?
