What do you mean, why couldn't he have been a main eventer? Insanely over with the fans? Check. Incredible worker? Check. Tons of charisma and ability to work a crowd? Check-check. What else did he need? If he would have been given the chance he would have succeeded, he really was probably the most over dude on the roster up until Hogan showed up and won the title.

I know all these things, and when I think of Tito Santana in the main event I shake my head and say no. It just doesn't fit for him. A modern day equivelent would be Kofi. He likely will get to the main event someday where he won't belong and will likely be a failure. Tito dominated the midcard and upper midcard and is famous for doing it. What's wrong with that?
