Daniel Day-Lewis has been tapped to play President Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's "LINCOLN" film. For years, Liam Neeson was attached to this role, but dropped out not too long ago. Maybe this isn't that big of a deal, but I MTFO for DDL. Anyone else excited about this? Thoughts either way?

I'm sure a lot of people do not care about this, but I have always found Abe Lincoln to be one of the more interesting guys in American history, and DDL is the best actor around. And for the love of Christ, I hope we don't have to hear a bunch of crap about his not being an American.

Loved or not, Lincoln was a fascinating and complex character and this role is in a very safe pair of hands with Daniel Day Lewis.
