Fact is, if people were praising them backstage after the show...doesn't that mean that they SAW the choking part? Why wouldn't they try to at least say something related about it beforehand or whatnot?

Not to mention Mattel need to give kids some credit. They're more than capable of figuring out how to strangle people, and that it's bad on their own.

Point is, if it's legit, then the talent relations department should just be fired, and replaced. It makes no sense to have that going, as well as JBL strangling Y2J (remember that one), JBL trying to run over Cena with a car (remember that one?) and the TLC matches (remember those ones?)

It's pretty much a bag of mixed messages on their part...if it's legit. As a mark, I hope it's not.

The point isn't whether Danielson was trying to KILL Josh Roberts. The point is that if this indeed legit, the WWE has a double standard on what is 'tasteful and appropriate' and what's not. There are too many instances of people being choked. Remember Big Show's submission finisher? Pretty sure he nearly tore Cena's head off with that. Or what about Danielson's use of the Crossface on Miz?

If this is a real release, Danielson either didn't want to be in the WWE or he crossed the wrong person backstage.
