Daniel Bryan's "Release" - The Spam Version

He doesn't have to be gone at all. My logic of Cena/Danielson isn't to shove the match down everyone's throats ASAP.. :lmao: NorCal and I were going back and forth between the spam, and non-spam threads.

Very well, at least we're on the same side then, but in truth I don't think John Cena vs Bryan Danielson will happen anytime soon, I wouldn't mind seeing Bryan Danielson vs Randy Orton although, or Chris Jericho version 2.

In the non-spam one, I mentioned that if done correctly - they would hold off on Cena/Danielson, and not rush it.. but at the same time, Danielson needs to obviously BE THERE for it to happen. Thus, he's clearly not fired.

I see, must've misread you then, but indeed it could work if done correctly and pushing the edge time after time, building it for months potentially.

EDIT: Also, NorCal and I (well, to my knowledge) aren't being heated with each other or anything. We're just pissing around. (Again, thats all I'm doing - if he's taking any of this seriously then.. .. HAHAHAHAHAHA.. but seriously, I doubt he ever could. He knows me to well to know anything different from just pissing back and forth.)

Oh I didn't assume you two were anywhere arguing rather than discussing, must be me being bad at detecting when people are arguing for real or not sometimes although, but this comes off rather clear that you aren't.

By the way, didn't you say those Finish them threads would come once a week or so? I want to see Crippler Crossface's next opponent.

Also, notice how the WWE took the story of his firing down from their website? Don't believe me? This is what I see.

There you have it.

Then again... Why would a kid wear a tie?

No shit, most kids don't even know how to tie a tie.

Here's what PWInsider is reporting:

"Former WWE star Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson, the name we'll have to get used to calling him by again) was released today as punishment for going beyond the company's PG standards and practices during the NXT invasion angle on Monday, according to sources within the company. The belief among those I spoke to is that when Danielson choked Justin Roberts with his tie, he broke a company protocol that was put in place after the Benoit tragedy that talents were not to use ropes or objects to choke opponents.

I am told that the final decision was made earlier today and Danielson was informed shortly before the company publicly announced it. For those who are thinking this is an angle, I am told by everyone I have spoken to that it is not, although I want to point out a number of wrestlers in the company do believe it is a work.

For those who are wondering why the company is giving Danielson such a harsh punishment, well a former company executive is running for office, although how much of a cause and effect is there is anyone's guess. It's certainly a viable theory, since the company has been very gun shy about going outside of their PG rating.

There's no word as to whether Danielson was aware of the protocol at the time of the angle, although the Roberts choking was one of the elements that made the end of Raw so memorable. It's interesting to note that at least on the company's Youtube.com channel, the incident, including the choke, are still available for viewing.

The loss of Danielson will immediately change the future of the WWE NXT angle since he was considered the most versatile and well rounded performer of the group and would have been extremely important in carry the brunt of the in-ring work load.

The release of Danielson does put him in an amazing position on the independent scene. How many top flight stars get signed, leave, and get released right after laying out the WWE champion?

We'll have more on this as it develops."

Except when Jericho came back, and you know, that was post-Benoit, he and JBL had an angle based on choking each other with ropes.

This is fucking ridiculous. The WWE is actually going to fire one of the best wrestlers in the world, and a future main event player, and someone who really made the angle Monday night memorable through what he did to Roberts and Cena over something stupid like this.

I'm now about 75/25 convinced that this is a work. I'm pretty certain this is all part of a plan by Vince and the creative team. By the way, has there been a new member of creative added to Raw since WM, because I can't imagine that the same people who wrote last year’s Raw wrote this angle.

I dunno why fans of his are mad. What, so you cant see Danielson have 6 minute matches and use 10% of his repretois in the WWE anymore? How ever shall we continue to live!!

Fuck. TNA champion. He would be over like fucking gangbusters in the impact zone. Epic matches with Joe, Angle, Wolfe, RVD. Come now.

I would also think that John Cena having Randy Orton in the STF while wearing hand-cuffs is also considered choking.

Also, what the hell does this have to do with Benoit? Did he choke and kill anybody in the ring, or on tv? No. It was at his house when he was under the influence of many pills, and just snapped.

I just think Danielson deserves a chance to succeed at the top level. It's what he's been working for for the last 10 years, and a wrestler of his caliber deserves to be at the top of the #1 company in the world. Any real fan of the guy would want to see him succeed, even if he's not allowed to really go all out like he's able to.

And TNA would be a death sentence for him, much like it's been for Nigel/Desmond.

Danielson will be back regardless, if he didn't know about the protocol and what not, but this is strongly beginning to look more and more like a work.

That just further proves this is a work. Release Bryan for a contradictory reason and get the IWC pissed off. Hell, in the same incident with Bryan, Heath Slater tried to choke Cena with the ring ropes, and as of yet, he isn't fired.

He'll be back. Don't worry.

meh, still get to see him do what he does, much more than you would in the WWE.

Don't ask why I have such hope for TNA still. Even I dont know

WWE is making us all worked up, how WWE has been doing things lately is brilliant, they surprise us, get us excited and work us up. Vince has his head screwed on.

I thought it was a work last night, but as more information comes out, the more I think really think it's legit.

This blows.

According to wwe.com Bryan's release was 11hours 42 minutes ago. His twitter update was an hour before this

This is legit, the way everything seems, but hopefully Vince and creative are having a little fun with the IWC.

The justin roberts choking picture has vanished from wwe.com

I'm getting a really funny image of Vince sitting here as a guest with that maniacal look on his face and shouting THAT'S RIGHT PUPPETS! DANCE FOR YOUR MASTER!

I'm pretty sure in his free time, Vince is usually too busy riding his chair like a car around his office, crashing into interns with stacks of paper in their hands and sexually harassing female employees.

I dont know if i have enough rooom to sig this.

If it was Vince's idea for people to talk more about the WWE then it's certainly succeeding.
