Yeah, but, in all fairness.. when I seen everything unfold.. the one thing I veiwed as "holy shit, that looks legit like it hurt." Was the tie strangling of Justin Roberts. LOL He got choked out like a pro.

The ring stuff was clearly staged to happen. Beating up random ringside people was staged to happen. Spitting on Cena, in his face/mouth and choking Roberts with a tie - may not have been 'written in the scripts'. Still, if anything Danielson made the moment THAT MUCH MORE REALISTIC.

So yeah, why fire the guy for helping to make the segment go over even better.

Fuck all, I guess we should replace the ring mat that broke Orton's forearm when he banged against it. Or even the apron that blew out both of McMahon's quads when he tried sliding inside the ring, at that Rumble in 05.

Bring in the "best wrestler in the world" then proceed to mock him and have him lose over and over, then subsequently fire him?

Yeah, we made him look foolish, didn't we? Had him runnin 'round, doin' all sorts of stupid shit.. (but he pinned the main guy he was in a feud with, who's set to be one of your future stars??).. thats besides the point, we had him do a TON of stupid shit though, didn't'cha see that??.. (but he spit on your Heavyweight Champion, and in front of a world wide audience screamed he wasn't better, and you have the last image being that, then firing him, proving Cena will never get revenge?).. What?! Wait, no, what?! What part of didn't you see him doing TONS of stupid events, like the pop drinking, obsticle course running, rope climbing, beer keg carrying stuff?.. (oh, yeah.. we seen it. Anyways, the question of did he get the better end of the situation is in the eye of the beholder. You can view it from both sides.

Was he made to look like shit? Sure. Did he lose more than he won? Yep. Was the announcer truly told to mock him in every stretch of the imagination? Befriend Cole and find out.

On the flip side..

During each loss, did Danielson show great talent? Yes. In the end, the "fluke wins" he had, were they over important situations? Absolutely. One was over the sole wrestler he'd been feuding with. And if the last image you'll see of Danielson, is spitting in your Company's "face" (literally), do you not think that is great ammo to use whereever he goes? You'd be stupid not to.

What exactly are they going to do? Tell the world he was horrible because he ran the exact same dumb contests all the other "future stars of WWE" ran? Well, okay, but thats like slapping yourself in the face by calling the rest of your talent equally as bad.

And unlike Danielson, the rest of the NXT S1 crew are relative unknowns. The majority of the wrestling world knows who Danielson is, and his true ability. So mocking him isn't hurting him, as much as its making your own Company look incapable and incompetent in how to use someone with actual talent.

If Daniel Bryan is a worked firing, and for him to return to feud with John Cena or have a match with him, he'd have to be gone for quite a while, reports are that Wade Barrett vs John Cena is due to happen in this summer period.

If Daniel Bryan is a worked firing, and for him to return to feud with John Cena or have a match with him, he'd have to be gone for quite a while, reports are that Wade Barrett vs John Cena is due to happen in this summer period.

He doesn't have to be gone at all. My logic of Cena/Danielson isn't to shove the match down everyone's throats ASAP.. NorCal and I were going back and forth between the spam, and non-spam threads.

In the non-spam one, I mentioned that if done correctly - they would hold off on Cena/Danielson, and not rush it.. but at the same time, Danielson needs to obviously BE THERE for it to happen. Thus, he's clearly not fired.

EDIT: Also, NorCal and I (well, to my knowledge) aren't being heated with each other or anything. We're just pissing around. (Again, thats all I'm doing - if he's taking any of this seriously then.. .. HAHAHAHAHAHA.. but seriously, I doubt he ever could. Attempted murder in main event matches (Orton trying to blow up Cena, Batista trying to run over Cena): Okay

Vince beating up a Stroke Victim: Okay

Danielson choking Roberts with his tie: Not Okay

IF this firing is legit, I think I might be taking a break from the WWE. Danielson is one of my favorite wrestlers, and to release him over something asinine as this is enough to really be the straw that breaks the camel's back as far as me no longer following this company goes.
