And so is everyone who questions JT Tiller being injured at the end of the Marquette game, requiring Kim English to come in and shoot the FTs for him.
I just heard a little blip on ESPN radio about it, where Davis was basically questioning the integrity of the win, and of the Missouri kids. Well, Davis, allow me to kick your ass in the only way I know how; completely anonymously and in a way that you will never read (if I knew how to contact him directly, I would).
Let's just go through the reasons that insinuating Mizzou tried to get Tiller out of the FTs is absurd:
1) Tiller is a junior, English is a freshman. Why would you rather a freshman shoot crunch FTs than your junior point guard?
2) Tiller had been playing and was in the flow of the game. English had been sitting out for several minutes, and wasn't in the flow of the game.
3) Tiller is a 75% FT shooter, English is a 69%.
4) Tiller was 4-6 from the FT line in the game, and English hadn't shot a single FT.
So why, Mr. Davis, would you send in a freshman who hadn't shot a FT all game and had been sitting on the bench in for a better FT shooter, who is an upper classman, had been playing, and had already shown success from the FT line for the game?
You're an idiot. And anyone who agrees with him is an idiot.
