Cryme Tyme

Where it at doe?
Ok so Cryme tyme came back to WWE after havign the incident with the referee and have been better in the ring than ever. They are over with the crowd and have the chance to be one of the best tag teams in the business today. but what happens when they break up. Will they be released . will they be main eventer? who will rise out of the 2?

well i don't think they will be released but i think shad will become a main eventer and rise from jtg. Shad has alot of things goign for him . i think he is more over than JTG. he is bigger stronger and isn't that bad in the ring. he has the "it" factor to be WWE champ. think about it. he is big and is jsut has good as undertaker on the mic. imagine when he becomes better in the ring. he could be the black undertaker. anyways what are your thoughts?

edit: for every one who says this. i no they wont break up for another 2 or so years. i am jsut stating

First of all Cryme Tyme isn't going to break up any time soon. I also don't really see the need to break them up. As you said they are the most over tag team in the WWE, and it's just a matter of time before they win the tag titles. There's nothing wrong with keeping a good tag team together. But to answer your question I really don't think there is any way to tell if either of them will be a big star. The obvious answer would be Shad because he's big, but until they actually go their separate ways there is no way of knowing how they will turn out. However, I believe they will be a team more along the lines of The Dudley Boyz and LOD where they never really break apart for a long period of time. The chemistry they have as a tag team is greater then anything they could do as singles competitors.

Personally, I could care less about them, but then I'd actually have to care. :)

Seriously though, their gimmick has been a huge albatross around their neck since the get go. It completely demeans them and characterizes them as thugs/gangstas or whatever the hell the term is this minute, hell if I know.

As far as their abilities though, all I do know is that when they actually do get in the ring, if I've managed to sit through their nonsense outside of it, I'm bored. There are some wrestlers that I've liked regardless of crowd reaction (Lance Cade, Kid Romeo, or Maestro come to mind) and then there's others that get the reaction like Cryme Tyme (or Rey Mysterio) and I could give less than a rat's behind about.

Let's suppose for a second that they do break up as a team. How long would that actually last before one, if not both were released, ala Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch? Would anyone give a damn about them if they weren't a tag team? I seriously doubt it.

What's so funny is since there's really not any other decent teams in the tag division and they still can't be the tag title holders.

As far as the "black" Undertaker? Can't see it happening, but in the circus world of pro wrestling...errr, sports entertainment....errr, whatever the hell it's being called these days by the WWE, I guess it could come to pass. After all, Giant Gonzalez, Hillbilly Jim and Mr. T were all involved in Wrestlemania's at one point or another. :)

I am a HUGE fan of Cryme Tyme. They are obviously the best face tag team and i hope they win the tag titles soon. They have awesome promos, the gimmick is great and they play it well. The crowd is entertained by them and so am i, they are like the only team who actually gets a reaction and are over as faces. Not only that they sometimes get once of the best responses of the night period. especially when they are given the time to work on the mic. They, along with Miz and Morrison carry the tag division.
As for breaking up and being singles stars i dont see that happening for a long ass time and im happy about that. They are fantastic in their role right now and i think they could carry the tag titles and make people care about them for a long time. They dont have to break up and i hate the mentality WWE has had in recent years where the end tag team wayyy too soon.
But if they were to hypothetically break up and pursue singles aspirations then i think Shad would go further. Simply becuz they both are equal in terms of charisma and mic work but shad has the size and stregth on his side, so therefore he will be pushed more.

They don't interest me too much in all honesty. I think their gimmick has become a little stale. Not to mention that they both haven't done anything of importance in a long time. I mean, they've been with the company for over 2 years now, and they haven't even won the World Tag Team Titles. Seriously, if they aren't going to win the belts despite being over with the fans, then what exactly is the point of their tag team? I don't really care for either of them, but they certainly aren't terrible. JTG seems to be the underappreciated member of the tag team, and I do think he's got potential to become a great mid-carder, but I think we all know who the breakout member is, if they were to go their separate ways that is.

Shad is bigger of the two and has the better look. Therefore he'll most likely be the one to be pushed after the tag team is over and done with. I can't really see him becoming a World Champion, but it's way to early to determine that. I do think his mic skills aren't all that flash, but I don't mind his in ring ability. I could see him winning the Intercontinential Championship one day, but I think it's best if he develops through Cryme Time firstly.

They shouldn't break up for at least another year as I think they need to win the tag titles in order to get the fans even more behind them. After a long reign, then both could breakout but I do think that's very doubtful. Shad will most likely get the push, because we all know Vince loves big men ;)

Both are talented, just not talented enough to make it to the big time.

well this is what i heard. They were in the middle of the match and something happened with them and the ref and then they actually did an unscripted move on the ref or something like that. i don't know if it's true but i remember reading that.

I agree with Spinc. if and when the two break up Shad will overcome JTG. JTG sort of has this thing that no matter what he does, i just can't get into him at all. Shad has the big structure and he is very talented for someone his size. He will be great as a singles wrestler.

maybe JTG could do decent in TNA? i mean they are pretty good at taking WWE's nonstars and making them big deals. eg. Shiek Abdul Bashier (i think thats right) he was literally nobody in WWE. and look what TNA has done with him.

oh and lol at Shad bieng the black undertaker

JTG has the better in-ring style and is certainly someone I'd rather watch in a match over Shad. Everytime I see Shad in the ring he reminds me of a very lumbering Kevin Nash. While he does have great charisma, I think he needs to be involved more in his matches (instead of the hot tags and the pinfalls) to work on his skills.

I don't think either would be top-tier guys, but I'm going to go against the masses here and say JTG has a better shot of going higher in the company. I think he has the in-ring ability and mic skills to snag an Intercontinental title reign.

They won't split up for a while, but I guess you know that. :). But when they do split, neither will be able to hold up a super successfull singles career. JTG will be a guy like R-Truth, if he's lucky. A showy guy who challenges but I don't think he will get the title. Shad might get the giant push, but he's not quite big enough to be like Umaga or Koslov. He has a better chance than JTG though. Hey, I could be wrong. They could shine and become top stars in a few years, but from what I have seen, they just don't got it.

Cryme Tyme needs to stay together right now in this tag team division that has been constantly weakened. Them leaving will essentially destroy all hopes of a viable division for doubles on the Raw Brand. They are a decent enough of a tag team, they get the crowd going, and they are the only ones besides Miz and Morrison who participate on Monday Nights that could be champions.
