Creative Control: What Would You Do?

Pretty much says it in the title. I hope this hasn't been done before, if it has I apologies before hand. But, here I go anyway.

A lot of people seemed to be ticked off at the WWE Creative Writing team for not coming up with good feuds, not giving a certain star a push or giving someone a push too soon, or rehashing old storylines, etc etc.

So, I want to know what would you do with the WWE if you had complete creative control for one year. From the Raw right after Wrestlemania, to Wrestlemania of the next year. What feuds would you do, who would get pushes and who would get the pink slip. Who would be the WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, and for how long. How would you utilize the mid card devision and the Intercontinental Title and United States Title, and what would you do with the Diva's decision. What PPV's would you bring back, and which would you drop. What types of matches would you feature once a year, for what PPV, and possible new types of matches. Who would you bring back, and who would retire. Would you keep the PG rating, or bring back the attitude era. And who would be Undertaker's final opponent at Wrestlemania?

For the course of one year with complete creative control, what would you do? Tell us how you would make the dream year which the WWE could do no wrong. And as the last part of your year long control, what would you do with the Undertaker's final Wrestlemania match.

Undertaker's final match should be with The Rock, Build a huge program from January and culminate into the final send off to one of the best EVER!!

Damn man, you're practically asking for a prospectus and a business plan. I'm not sure anyone is going to take the time to think all of that out to work perfectly and type the book that it would take to cover all of that adequately. Good questions, great curiosity, I'm just not sure many people are going to be able to do all that in a comprehensive capacity in less than 5,000,000,000 words. I'm not cutting on you at all either. I just noticed that there were plenty of views for this thread and no responses so I figured at least one was worth it. You realize what you're asking means planning every Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Superstars, and PPV, thinking out the course of every superstars career over the course of a year, every title reign and swith, everything? That is too much to ask. You'd have to write it all in hopefully under a month, then basically release it in volumes or episodes here on WrestleZone due to how much material that amounts to. I'd like to take a crack at it maybe on a smaller level, but this request is overwhelming.

If i was in charge of the wwe for one year, i would make me the world champion for the whole year, make undertaker vs Jericho at wrestlemania and make john cena job to santino, chavo and kung fu naki on a regular basis, too bad i'll never have that power

I can't be arsed with a 100,000 word dossier so I'll just do a few points that I think would improve the fed vastly:

- Drop the PG rating. It's a show about fighting, there's nothing PG about it! Still cater to a younger audience of course, but with all due respect, if your kids go round beating people up, it's as much to do with bad parenting as anything!

- Introduce matches that regularly go longer than 10 minutes.

- Relax the "WWE Style".

- Give everyone a chance to express themselves in the ring/Show what they can really do without fear of being reprimanded for showing up the "Big Names".

- Relax the "Banned Moves List".

- Hire/Create new Tag-Teams.

- Build a solid Tag-Team division.

- Don't give anyone TV who hasn't had a minimum of 3-4 years experience in more than one other fed.

- Expand the feeder fed's.

- Look to Foreign Stars (Japan, Mexico, Europe) & push them regardless of their accent!!!

- Do at least 1 PPV outside of the USA

- Bring up Joe Doering from FCW.

- Hire Tyler Black, The Briscoe Brothers & The Dark City Fight Club from ROH.

- Hire Beer Money Inc', Matt Morgan, Samoa Joe & Hernandez from TNA.

- Bring in Awesome Kong & maybe ODB.

- Have Gail Kim, Natalya, Eve Torres & The above two front the Womans Division.

- Have 1 World Champ, 1 Mid-Card Champ, 1 Lower Card champ & 1 Womens Champ & make it so holding a title means you can wrestle on either brand, otherwise, stick to your own show.

- Bring back long title runs.

- Kick Vicki Guerrero in the tits.

- Bring back the classic taped vignettes for any new Superstars coming in.

- Create managers/valets.

- Pull a few of the Divas from in ring duties & use them solely as valets.

- Bring Back Survivor Series & King Of The Ring PPV's in their original format.

- Have the commentators learn to commentate & learn move names!!!

- Have the commentators commentate! Call moves etc.

- Make Vince hold back on the "Head-Set Rollickings".

- Lose some of the "Dead Wood" (You know who they are whether you like it or not!).

- And last but most definately not least... Do whatever it takes to make Undertaker v's Sting the Main Event of Wrestlemania!!!

The WWE will always be in good stead, but at the end of the day, there audience will always be wrestling fans, so why not give them wrestling! No massive overhauls are needed, just alot of fine tuning!

What I would do with Raw

I would have Jesse Ventura come in as the new GM and find out he has been behind nexus with the help of Shamus

He would announce he was tired of the same guys wrestling for the belt over and over and as long as he was in control Cena, HHH, Orton wouldn't get another title shot

IF/WHEN Brett hart comes back he would be the manager of the Harts while I would have Superfly jimmy Snuka become the manger of his daughter and the tag team leading to a summer feud with Brett in one corner and Snuka in another..

HHH would have off till the Rumble..

The miz would win money in the bank...

Over the summer I would have some feuds including
Jericho/Cena
Orton/Edge

Shamus would be the champ for 3 or 4 months at least while feuding with R truth, Miz, Morrison
Put the Womens belt on Gail Kim

The rumble match would mean more then ever since the only way the vets could get a shot at the title is to win the rumble leading to a HHH Win upon his return..

Sting versus Undertaker. I would let them do whatever they wanted, but I would put everything into this, and make it a send off for both men.

First thing I would do is to have Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler be the announce team for both Raw and Smackdown.I think that they always worked great together and have Lawler as a heel.You would then get them going head to head and screaming at each other.It woulkd be classic to hear JR say "Slobber Knocker of a shot" one more time.
