My match idea is pretty straightforward. It is the BLT Match. Which of course stands for Barbed-wire, Ladders and Tables (oh my!). The rules are similar to that of a TLC or ladder match, retrieve the title to win. However, what makes this match more fucking badass is that you have barbed wire ropes and all the ladders and tables are wrapped in barbed wire. There is an assortment of other barbed wire weapons around the ring as well.

What about a Merry-Go-Round Match?
This is how it would work. You have 4 rings set up with a legitamte amount of area between them. You have 8 wrestlers, 2 in each ring to start the match. Then every lets say every 2-3 minutes a wheel is spun, with each of the 8 wrestlers names/faces on it. Whichever wrestler it lands on then moves into the ring to his right. Wrestlers are not allowed to interfere with other rings. Wrestlers are eliminated by pinfall/submission or DQed for interference. When they are down to 4 wrestlers they merge into 2 rings. When down to 2 wrestlers the match becomes a regular singles match. Of course, this match could be tweaked to make it no DQ or something. I think this would be great for a large feud, or mayb a MITB type title opportunity, as there are so many wrestlers. This could also have some high spots as mayb you have 6 people in one ring with 2 in another, or 4 and 4, or even 7 and 1, with the one person just chilling. I think this would be awesome!

Wow, the suggestion for that Merry Go Round Match got me to think of what may be the most insane, innovative, over-the-top, never-going-to-happen gimmick match in history. It is known only as the Ferris Wheel Match. The rules of the match are simple, it is essentially an 8 man elimination match. However, the structure on which the match takes place is elaborate and fucking awesome.

It essentially is a Ferris Wheel about 20 feet in diameter, but instead of all the carts around the wheel you have 4 minature wrestling rings (approximately 12 feet by 12 feet). 2 wrestlers begin in each ring, and every two minutes the wheel rotates moving the position of the rings.

Obviously, the amount of high spot possibilities in this match is incredible as you would have wrestlers jumping/getting thrown from a higher ring down to a lower ring or you would have wrestlers climbing from ring to ring. Hell, you could even have weapons suspended from parts of the wheel to add some more shit to the mix. The potential for creativity is astronomical.

Triple Threat Iron Man Match. Same rules apply just with three people

I think this match would work in today's wrestling because I can't see any wrestlers now going a full 60 mins against one other opponent.

If it was triple threat, it would allow for resting periods for the wrestlers as they get beat down. They would rest as the other 2 wrestle, and then they could come back and someone else would get thrown out of the ring (or whatever) for a break.

How about a match where there is a line drawn in the center of the ring that splits it into two and the only way to win is to make your opponent pin or submit on your side of the ring. If you pin/submit them on your oppenents side then it does not count. At least I think it'd be entertaining.

I'm going to split this into legit and joke match ideas since I have both...lol.

LEGIT

Metallic Jungle - Reinforced, roofed cage, with 3 open sides and the other sides are chain nets. Thick chains hang down from the roof. Goal is to climb to the top of the structure to gain whatever prize is hanging down above it.

Double Jeopardy - Simply requires a pinfall and submission over an opponent to win.

Controlled Chaos - 4 Wrestlers, to win a wrestler must pin or submit every other opponent. If a wrestler is eliminated, whoever he eliminates is allowed back into the match. Eliminated wrestlers are allowed to serve as lumberjacks until the match ends or they are able to re-enter the match.

JOKE

Glasgow Smile Match - A knife hangs on a pole in the corner of the ring. To win an opponent must use that knife to give their opponent a "Glasgow Smile". Great if you want lots of blood and to give a wrestler a gimmick change to a complete pyscho with the catch phrase "wanna know how i got these scars?"...lol.

Strip-Ironman Match - Great for womens wrestling! 30 Minutes or more, everytime the wrestler loses they have to take off a piece of their outfit. Should they end up naked they have 5 minutes to get the opponent nude also or they lose. should they get the opponent also naked the match goes into sudden death.
