Shadowmancer with his good matches & wrestlers. Pfft.

The sole purpose of this match was so Hogan could avenge his loss at W.M. Somebody needs to tell Hogan that wrestling isn't real. This match is so bad. Seriously. Watch it. It's one of my personal faves. You know it's bad when A) Hogan admits it's bad and B) He admits that it was his fault. That's on the Warrior DVD fact fans.

It bothered me far less that the match was bad because the build-up was bad too. I mean, neat idea that the Warrior came back to try to "right the wrongs" that Hogan was doing in WCW, but the spots they did to try to build the psychology - they tried WAY TOO HARD.

Example - Hogan, mentally tormented by The Warrior's presence, sees Warrior "appear" in his mirror. Ok, we get it. But when Hogan is explaining to Bischoff that he sees him, with Bichoff asking him "what's wrong?" it kinda kills the mood when Tony Schiavone who is either a) an idiot, b) poorly prepared, or c) all of the above says "look at that!" I mean, talk about a poor job.

The match was a giant let down. It confirmed to fans everywhere that their heroes from the 80's and early 90's were dead. Even an 80's schlock mark like Slyfox could agree with that fact.

What are you doing Canadian dude? Your supposed to big up the crap match. It's a classic. It's up there with HBK/Mankind 1996, Tiger Mask/Dynamite Kid August 1985. Except shit. I beg you to please find the entertainment factor in this. I honestly dont get how people can watch this and not be amused. This isn't Khali bad. This is a whole other level.

But yeah the build up stunk. And yet WWE repeated it during the Taker/Orton feud. And I loved Warriors rambling promo that went on about 30 minutes too long, and I loved how he refered to himself as Ultimate.

Well Jake I am one those that get a good laugh out of this each time i see, and let me say i dont watch it on a regular basis just when some post it or i see when looking for old PPVs. But this was the let down of the century i mean at first thinking your like Hogan/Warrior oh man that should be great yet you get crappy build up and the match is just the icing on top of the crappy cake.

Lets face it this match was when first thought by WCW was to reproduce something many fans loved back at WM6 but they ruined by the buildup and the fact that both Hogan and Warrior were utter crap in the ring that night.

This is even worse than the finger poke title match.

I love it, The Great Khali has been in WWE for maybe a year and a half and he already has his own level of "bad."

I try to find the good in lots of stuff. You want the good in this match - it ended.

I quote Sherman Helmsley saying three nice things about Wheezie: "Yo mama died, yo mama's dead, yo mama ain't livin' no mo'!"

How dare anyone bash the Las Vegas Screw Job. Got the build up for this match was great. AS said before Hogan being able to see Warrior in the mirror, but Bischoff couldn't, and Shiavone sounding like a complete idiot. So in actuality, the only one that couldn't see the warrior was Bischoff, so Sleazy-E was actually the crazy one.

Plus even better was just how long it took for the dreaded fireball to go off and then not work right. God this is funny as hell. The only thing more disapointing is that it wasn't the main event of the evening.

I've only heard about this match and this is the first time I got to watch it and it is both the worst and funniest piece of wrestling tv that I have seen since Kane took off his mask to reveal that he had a pretty normal face, except for a dodgy eye!

The fireball bit is what makes it for me, not only does not go off on time; its the sheer amount of time it took Hogan to get the powder and lighter out before fucking it up!

There are so many bad matches out there that I haven't seen that I can't wait to see what else people bring up. No doubt that many a Khali match will be in this thread and I for one hope so because he is one of the funniest people in the WWE in my opinion!

Yeah that fireball was a timeless moment that pretty much summed up this whole feud, a fuck up of an already bad idea good choice on bad match of the week

And Yes, the actually transcript of the "Mirror Indicent"

warriorinwcw0.jpg

Ultimate Warrior: "Same Warrior Time...Same Warrior Place...Same Warrior Channneelllll!"

Hollywood Hogan: "It's that Warrior..."

Tony Schiavone: "Look! Look at that!"

Larry Zybysko: "What the..."

Eric Bischoff: "What's the matter with you, man?"

Zybsyko: "He's in the wall!"

Heenan: "He's in the mirror!"

Hogan: "Oh, real funny! You think it's funny?!"

Bischoff: "Who are you talking to?!"

Hogan: "Look at him - it's the Warrior!"

Bischoff: "Look at WHAT?! LOOK AT WHAT??!!!"

Greatest Build up to the Greatest Re-Match in the History of Our Sports Sport Fans!!!
