Could This Be A Set Up For Heel Turn?

87% said yes Give Joey Ryan contact.

Al Snow only judge to say Yes

During the the result ceremony Taz(z) & Joey Ryan had words

Joey Ryan went after Taz(z) at first then out of no where he attacked Al Snow

Al Snow snaps (very quickly)

Al Snow vs Joey Ryan

Stipulation if Joey Ryan wins he gets a TNA contract.

So I got to wondering was the attack on Al Snow planned with Al to lead to the match where Al will deliberately lose to Joey forcing a TNA contract and turn one of the Judges Heel?

I doubt it. They switched it to Al Snow because Taz can't wrestle anymore. Of course, they should have thought about that before they wrote the story line, so that way Al could have been the one to tell him "No," then the attack on him would have made more sense. :)

The only benefit to having a heel judge is if they give the contestants enough time to become heels. Which i don't see them doing. So no there shouldn't be a heel turn just contiune the way it is or just stop it all toghter. I prefer the ladder.

It's doubtful. It's also possible and makes no sense, but it's doubtful.

Generally speaking, nobody really gives a damn about Al Snow. If he completely disappeared from TNA television and dropped off the face of the earth, hardly anyone that watches TNA would give him a second thought. There's no money to be made in a road agent turning heel, especially as part of some scheme half a year in the making designed to get someone a TNA contract. It would be a waste of air time and energy quite frankly.

I don't see much of a point to having a heel judge. I suppose it could fit with some of the backstage accusations that A&8s have made though. What I think is going to happen is Joey Ryan beats Al Snow for the contract through backhanded methods then Taz chokes him out as the crowd goes crazy.

I doubt that Al Snow will be turning heel. With all of the backstage agents, the only two that could have possible wrestled Ryan are D-Lo or Snow. Since Snow is actually a Gut Check judge, they went with Snow. I'm sure if Flair was still around, they would have used Flair instead.

Once this mini feud is over, I doubt we'll see Al Snow on television as a main character or anything. There's really no point in turning him heel, unless they're planning on using him on TV more (which I doubt they're thinking about doing). Maybe I could see Snow turning heel if he was going to be a member of the announce team or something, but at this point I can't see Snow "turning" (even though I don't really think of him as a heel or a face to begin with...I think of him as a backstage guy who's occasionally on TV).

The other option is to make Al Snow Ryan's manager, by having him lose in the manner the OP described. This option seems kind of dumb to me as well, since I don't think Ryan needs a mouthpiece. Besides, there are better choices (at least in my mind) to fill that role than Al Snow. I think this is Snow's last chance at "glory", and the reason they've put it off for so long is so Al can get back in ring shape (at least that's my best guess). I also don't think this will amount to a long-term ring return for Snow, although anything is possible. Even though Al Snow was never a big draw, I always enjoyed him back when he was wrestling for WWE.
