Saying we should be like-minded is going a little too far. It is cool to be able to discuss why we think differently on various topics as long as we respect other people's opinions even when we disagree with them.
There's nothing wrong with debating and discussing things like adults, after all didn't many of us join this WRESTLING FORUM so that we could DISCUSS WRESTLING? Debating should be encouraged, as long as people are arguing the actual discussion rather than verbally attacking each other. I often disagree with people (hence why I debate so much) but I still have respect for their opinions when I'm discussing something.
