Cody Rhodes has been Impressive Lately....Really Impressive

Getting Noticed By Management
I dunno about u guys, but to me Cody Rhodes has been impressin me lately. before he was average at best on the mic, and in the ring. but ever since his dad was host of raw, he's kicked it up a notch. his in ring work has been superb, with moves ive never seen, and some old school throwback moves. that submission he used at breaking point on hbk. the promo he did by himself when he faced john cena one on one was great. his moonsaults are crisp, and he has charisma to him. i used to believe ted was better, but now i personally like cody better. what do you guys think?

I hadn't really noticed that till you said something. Maybe his dad did give him the swift kick up the ass he needed. At I was counting his days but now I see potential. Solid mid to upper mid carder for awhile. If he's willing to learn he may be great one day.

Since Cody Rhodes' heel turn last summer, I pretty much lost a lot of the love I had for him. That mostly has to do with the fact that I was such a Hardcore Holly mark, but anyways...

Yeah, Cody Rhodes really is taking his career to the next level. He's impressed me a lot even though I seriously can't stand the guy. He's shown that he can talk quite proficiently on the mic. His ring skills still need work in my opinion, but he'll get there. We were all saying how Ted DiBiase would be the breakout star of Legacy, but Cody Rhodes is making me wonder, "Why can't both of them succeed on their own"? This DX fued is really helping Cody Rhodes make a name for himself. Let's see if he can keep it up after the DX/Legacy is over.

Yeh, Cody has lifted his game. Its great to see.

Doesn't hurt that he is wrestling HHH and HBK though ;) Something must be rubbing off, because they are looking better every week.

Both Ted and Cody have been performing really well lately but there has been a bigger improvement in Cody in recent weeks. They are definatley benifiting from this feud with DX, wrestling with 2 greats like Triple H and Shawn Michaels has to do something for them and it looks like it is.

Ted may break out more so than Cody in the future but Cody definatley has a bright future with the WWE. He's solid in the ring and has been getting better and better lately and the promo he did when Dusty was hosting was pretty good compared to previous ones he's done.

Definatley enjoying both Rhodes and DeBiase lately.

I was wonderin' when someone would recognize Cody! I've been a mark for cody since I saw him induct his father into the hall of fame. He spoke great (as if he meant what he was sayin' with great delivery) and oozed a kinda subtle but strong charisma so I was waitin' on him to show up on WWE tv! Then when I saw him wrestle I was like " this guy is young as hell and wrestles like he is straight out the eighties!" ( Which I have a big appreciation for if done right) oh, and he was with Bob Holly (love that guy). As of late he has startd to come into his own as far as his in ring talent goes. More specifically he was good in the ring but most wouldn't notice bcause his offense was kinda lame. I think he is now turning into an individual inring as he always was behind the mic! :e just needed the chance and fued to shine. I've known for a long time cody would work out and I never thought ted was as better than cody as many would want u to believe!

He has been. He is very young and has a bright future. I think he could be a good underdog world champion.

He's swinging and missing alot...but I think that a program with DX will make him better. IMO I think he could be running parallel with Randy Orton. I think the most entertaining I've ever seen Orton is when he and Edge started their program with DX back in 2006. i think that gave him the confidence he needed to find. I'm excited to see where this goes. And let's give some praise to Debiase too...both are shwoing little glimpses of hope.

I think the best thing that Cody needs right now is for him and Ted to beat DX at Hell in a Cell, that would be a great accomplishment for anybody to say that they beat DX in a HiaC. But he'll never break out until he starts doing singles. I don't think he should go after the US title yet but remember how everybody was saying how bad Priceless was before they started to feud with DX. But now that they've beaten them a couple of times, when ever Cody decides to go into single competition, he'll be caught up with the likes of Swagger and MVP.
But you know how all great tag teams gotta have a barbershop scenario, I've always imagined that Cody would be the one throughing Ted through the window.

The future is looking bright for Legacy at the moment and Cody seems to be taking the bull by the horns so to speak. It must be common knowledge that people expect Ted to be the breakout star, maybe Cody is using that motivation to ensure that he is not left wondering what happened. I can see both of these men holding the WWE title at some point in their life as long as they continue to develop and do not allow their careers to be stagnated.

So far Cody Rhodes seems to be more charismatic and a better talker to me then Ted Dibiase. Dibiase always has this same look on his face and seems not to good at conveying emotions to me and seems like a stiff at times. Their ring work seems equal to me and I cannot really make a judgment on that yet.

Cody Rhodes has continuously improved his game since he first stepped foot in a WWE ring over a year ago. When he first debuted, he was kinda vanilla in my opinion....but he has had a string of good mentors to help him along the way: Holly, Orton, HHH, HBK, and don't forget his father and brother Dustin, who are most likely helping him out wherever they can.

Yes, it is kind of widely accepted that Ted will be the breakout star of Legacy...but these two can have a situation much like that of John Morrison and the Miz. Morrison had a bigger future at the time of the split, but in my opinion Miz has stepped up his efforts considerably...proving that both could be major stars in the future. I think Rhodes sees this and has improved greatly...just so he won't be Future Endeavored.

I wouldn't say impressive, I'd probably use the term "less shit". The problem is that neither Rhodes nor DiBiase had been given the chance to speak for themselves properly before the DX feud. It was all about Orton before, and as a result they were just second rate and looked it.They have stepped up against DX, and it does show, but I still don't think either of them could get the crowd to react to them at face value, which is what they need to be breakout stars. Cody is probably the one that will stick with Orton, so that means he's got more time to improve, lord knows he'll need to if he is to survive as a singles star.

i completely agreed....eversince last Survivor series when cody was the only legacy member in the traditional survivor series match with orton he came out looking like a tough guy and in my book he has been improving since then well since the Bash at least from the RR to the Bash he did nothing...... but ever since going for the unified titles and then the DX feud he has started to talk more and better and there has been definetively an improvement in his offensive arsenal..... i mean he held his own in summerslam and was impressive at BP..... i dont think that Legacy will get the win at Hell in a Cell but i think it will be an amazing match..... and i started believing that Ted was the breakout star of the Legacy.... now i think Cody will be the one getting ahead..

The DX/Legacy feud has really helped Rhodes and DiBiase out. HHH and HBK have really begun to rub off on them and especially Cody. I've had high hopes for him since his debut, and I'm glad to see it paying off and he's beginning to come into his own.

I love Cody Rhodes. I always have. I like him better than DiBiase. He's definitely stepped his game up in all departments. I think the ol American Dream busted his ass because he was getting sloppy. Whatever happened, thankfully it did.
