Pre-Show Stalwart
from the small sig n promos he those about how he wants to fight big names in the wwe, such as king booker, rvd, big show, its seems as wwe wants him to become the future. The way wwe is portrying this guy, i would say in about a year he will be come champ or sooner. First off check he is the only reason why i tune in to ecw, cause he's sick and wwe is portrying him as the future and the right way, such as being underfeated n having some pretty sick moves in the ring that u dont see other wrestlers do. also getting great pops fromt he crowd. his rivaries has been great sucah as strating off with weak guys on the show. as long as this role continues n doesnt change illl be watching ecw. cause theres not really any other reason to watch it, if there no future star. Sum it up wwe better not mess his streak or his gimmick like they did to RANDY ORTON.---who i think is no longer the future

I went to a smackdown/ecw taping last month in washington d.c. and i really didn't know that much about cm punk and honestly i still don't know too much about him but from what i've seen i'm impressed. I think maybe in a year or two he'll be a top guy on raw or smackdown because he seems to have what it takes to be a top tier superstar but so have a lot of other people so i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Agreed. CM Punk is great. He is the future of WWE. TNA was dumb to let him go. I just wish they'd let him use the Pedigree from the Top Rope.

He left TNA because TNA didnt like him working in ROH, so he decided to quit TNA and continue working in ROH. As for him being the future of WWE, I agree with that hes an excellent wrestler, I hope after a while he goes to Raw though and pushes for the Intercontinental Title.

I dont know about future of the WWE.. But definatly future of WWECW... He is by far there best talent.. Besides for RVD... And could have a great fued with anyone on the roster. For some reason.. At the first ECW PPV... I can see him defeating Big Show for the title.

CM Punk does not belong in a RAW or Smackdown ring. In fact, if this guy got along with management in TNA - I'd much rather still see him in there. Thus far, WWE is using him correctly, but - as with any star who looks to have a bright future - WWE might make a fatal move that'll send his career downward...

But yes, dude's the future of ECW and he's the only non-ECW original who'd be received positively by the Hammerstein crowd (to me, they're the best audience in the world).

cm punk has a very bright future in the wwe i can see him intercontinetal champ when the ecw project is over

BTW Randy orton is not getting pushed anymore becase of his weed addiction

Hes tested positive twice

I think signing CM Punk is one of the best decisions wwe have ever made. Having seen a lot of him on TNA and ROH i know what he's capable of and without a doubt he'll be the top star in the new ECW within a year. I'm not sure how he'd fair on smackdown or raw but i'd imagine raw would suit punk better because of the other good midcard talent such as Carlito, Randy Orton, Super Crazy and Johnny Nitro, Punk could have some really entertaining feuds with all 4 of those men for the intercontinental championship.
Hopefully, in a couple of years CM Punk could be a heavyweight title contender because i really think he has 'IT'

years ago nobody would have pictured edge being champ. now look at him. i see CM the same way. in due time, he'll be a top dawg.
