Choose El Califa's Theme

I had this planned out a couple days ago actually, before the Pick a New Theme thread. I picked Califa's theme just off of the song I was listening to at the time. Not 100% sure if it fits him or not, but I found two other songs I think may fit better that I like. However I'll include his original theme as an option as well.

I don't know. Aside from "Mystique" the choices don't exactly reflect El Califa's character much.

This one talks about Mexican heritage. But exactly are you aiming for?

Ante Up is based off of him growing up in the less then reputable area of Houston. And it's a high energy track as well.

Mystique is based off of the mystery of his identity.

Shadowboxing alluding to his boxing/kickboxing history.

I prefer a hip hop theme but Mystique is just a beat I really dig.

Ante Up is a solid song for a wrestling theme, but every time I hear it, John Cena.

Mystique is a good wrestling song and I think it fits well for the character, but you mentioned you wanted something hip-hop.

Shadowboxing I'm pretty meh on. I think the opening is kinda poor for a wrestling song, and to me you want something that throws you right into it.

Personally since I don't think Mystique is a huge improvement over Ante Up, I wouldn't change it.

Yeah, out of those, I'd pick Ante Up, but if I had my own choice I'd pick something smooth and chill but with a strong beat, and in Spanish. Not sure of an actual song I'd pick, but something that kinda sounded like this, except with more of a hook and something that fits him more. And, you know, in Spanish:


But yeah, picked Ante Up out of those choices for a theme, but Mystique is pretty awesome as a song.
