Chavo Guerrero Heel Turn

Dark Match Jobber
Come on now. Who didn't see that one coming? I saw it from a mile away. This is the problem with WWE - the angles are just getting way too predictable. If they were going to have a heel turn, why not have one when we least expected it? Well, this does give Chavo a higher profile feud than he ever had on Raw, that's for sure. What was his highlight when he was there - a series of matches with Shelton Benjamin when he was in the Kerwin White character?

This hopefully will elevate Chavo up to the next level. I hope this gets him over HUGE.

agreed i can predict almost every storyline i.e. teamates leaving in tag match, heel interference, manager interference seriously WWE c'mon

I'd look foraward to that. I'm glad he turned heel- even if it was predictable. I was getting bored of the old character.

That's good that he turned Heel he just makes me madder and madder when he used to help Rey defend his title.

Chavo screwed Rey and now is coming back to WWE, what a night!

ya i think pretty much everyone saw that coming, maybe chavo will get the U.S title eventually, but he'll probably have a match with rey at summerslam

It is definatley good for him but yeah i saw it coming about a month ago. That is why i didnt buy the PPV. I knew what was happenning. Why else have mysterio face him two days before GAB and have chavo help? They didnt need to do that.

sorry guys this wont be the 1st time we see Chavo vs Rey they feuded back in WCW and a little bit when eddie and ray were tag team champs. still this will be one of the best matches at summerslam. if anything this is the Tribute match to the late Eddie guerrero. i expect a highflying over the top im gonna give it all i have type of match, should be one of the best matches ever. i think Chavo will win and he will go after the US title.

Yeah, I agree and Rey had his debut match in the WWE with Chavo. It was a good match so I suspect their feud will be good too.

I think this is kind of a mistake. I think it was far too expected. I dont think this will make for a good storyline. They could do with a few good matches though to keep smackdowns ratings up even though they are low as it is. THEY reallly need to rethink their plans now.

I saw this happening right after Judgement Day. I really don't see why he has turned on Rey Mysterio though...

im sure the reasons will be given on smackdown on tuesday.

The problem with WWE (and especially SmackDown! and WWECW) is that Vinnie Mac gears the storylines and twists too much to children. Really, to not see some of these things coming, you have to be either incredibly young and naive or just plain dopey.

The only thing you can chalk this up to is laziness. Rather than meticulously crafting the storylines like they did in the most competitive years, Vinnie always opts for the easiest twist out there. I hope TNA, ROH, etc. can put a little heat on WWE so that WWE puts a little more effort into their shows and quits appealing to the lowest common denominator so often.

What i dont understand is why they have continued not to change the storylines even though the saturday night main event ratings and the smackdown ratings have shown wwe that people are become less interested in what they have to offer and ultimately people will hear of tna and probably begin to watch their show espically since theyare thinking of moving IMPACT!(i think its impact) to 2 hours

Exactly ^ Vinnie has nothing to worry about right now as far as competition. Sure TNA is slowly rising through the ranks but at the rate they are going, it could be another 2-5 years before they have the potential. So Vinnie has become comfortable on his throne. Thus only looking for the big money makers, i.e keeping cena as champ, bringing back DX, bringing back hogan. Some sounds like quick money makers until the fans realize there is no direction and get bored with it. i.e. DX-watered down pranks week after week, cena-overcome odds(eventually you run out of odds to overcome) the list goes on. So until Vinnie begins to see a drop in sales there wont be much changed. None the less, no matter what product there is, the dedicated will still return week after week, thinking this might be the week it gets better.

Cant they get over dedicating matches to Eddie? Like ok eddie was a good wrestler, but its nearly been a year now since he died cant they get over it?
Just really weird keep dedicating matches to him did they dedicate matches to Yokozuna in 1990's when he died? No so why keep doing it for eddie i realise everybody loved eddie but isnt it time you put it behind you now?
