Wrestlezone......is gonna get GOT!
This is my new series of who should or shouldn't be Inducted into the wwe Hall of Fame
So the names of thread is pretty simple do you think Chavo will be inducted into the wwe HOF?
If so who would induct him?
If not then why?
Let's look at his stats:
Been in wwe since 2001- present
Debut as part of the Alliance
Was a trainer on the original Tough Enough
Currently a Pro on NXT Redemption
Has feuded with the likes of Rey mysterio, Eddie guerrero, Randy Orton, Kane Hornswoggle and recently sin cara just to name a few.

He has been apart of Los guerreros with his uncle Eddie to a Stereotypical white man gimmick as Kerwin White to La Familia
Let's look at his accomplishments.
A one time ECW World Champion
A four time Cruiserweight Champion
A two time Tag Team Champion with Eddie Guerrero

He's been #1 contender to the wwe championship when Eddie won it
He cost Rey Mysterio the World Championship
Has competed in 'I Quit' Matches

PWI ranked him # 17 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the PWI 500 in 2004
Tag Team of the Year
With Eddie Guerrero

Thoughts?

Um, sure. Not because if his terribly mediocre accomplishments, but because of the respect the WWE has for the Guererro family. I'm not going to sit here and pretend Chavo has had huge amounts of success when in reality, Chavo hasn't really done much. But that doesn't change the fact that Chavo has done the most deameaning, embarrassing things for the WWE and hasn't once complained about it. We all know Chavo is one hell of an athlete. He can carry a damn good feud and put on some phenomenal matches. But the WWE doesn't see much in him for some reason I've yet to figure out. Has he had a Hall of Fame career? Hell no. But at the same time he's done a lot for the WWE and stayed loyal at the same time. It wouldn't hurt to give him a Hall of Fame ring in a few decades or so.

I'd say yes. I think he has enough credentials so far. He was an integral member of the Cruiserweight division that held WCW together during their Monday Night Wars with WWF/E. He is actually a 6 time Cruiserweight champion (2 with WCW, 4 with WWE), 2 time WWE Tag Champion, 1 time WCW World Tag Team Champion, 1 time ECW World Heavyweight Champion and is part of one of the most celebrated wrestling families of all time. Sure, his WWE career has been relatively lackluster but people have gotten in for having less accomplishments. Chavo has been a staple in WWE television over the last 10 years and has gotten a lot of TV time that someone of his accomplishments normally does not get. He is still a great in ring performer even being 40 years of age, which showed during his recent matches with Sin Cara. The man is a great worker and definitely does not get the credit or acknowledgement he deserves.

for fucks sake doink the cown in a hall of famer so why wouldnt chavo a multitime champion, staple in wwes lower midcard for the last 10 years and hes done alot outside of the ring not to mention he is pretty much a top draw for house shows

I'm gonna say no AND yes. No, because I just simply can't see Chavo as a hall of famer based solely on his own merit. However, I say yes if they induct him as a representative of the Guerrero family as a whole. Didn't they do something similar with the Von Erichs a couple years ago? After all, the Guerrero family is one of the most respected families in the history of wrestling. Probably second only to the Harts.

If Koko B. Ware is in the Hall of Fame. I don't see why Chavo Guerrero wouldn't get inducted one day. He's had a descent amount of success over the years. Lasting in WWE for over ten years is a huge accomplishment in it's self. He hasn't had a descent push in a long time but he does what is expected of him very well.

He may be the greatest enhancement talent ever, he can make anyone look great in the ring. If he does go in the Hall of Fame. I think either Rey Mysterio or Dean Malenko will induct him.

Hell yes! The mans a hard worker, gret in ring skills, a pretty damn good heel (if given the time) and hes one of few superstars today that put guys over and has done so for years now, not just in the later stages of his career.

I like Chavo Guerrero, I really do. But him being inducted into the WWE hall of fame is a long shot.

Chavo is indeed the last of a dying breed in the WWE and wrestling period. But I just can't picture Chavo Guerrero in the WWE HOF. The WWE hall of fame is already a lightweight joke with wrestlers/people like Drew Carey and William Perry in the HOF. So why would the WWE even take it as far as inducting the guy who played Jack Swagger's soaring eagle?

Chavo's good, but he isn't great okay?

The WWE will induct pretty much anyone if they stuck with the company for a long term period. At least that's what I think. It might takes some years, but they will get in eventually. JMO.

I think Chavito will be in the Hall of Fame but I don't think it'll be solo.

I say he'll go in as The Guerreros with Hector, Chavo Sr., Gory, Mando & maybe even Vickie. Though keep Eddie by himself - his individual contributes should be.

Side note: I also wouldn't have lumped Kerry Von Erich in with the other Von Erichs. But I won't complain too much since Texas Tornado is in the Hall of Fame.

Dude, it should be yes all the way.. if someone like Koko B Ware can make it,then Chavo deserves a spot, he's been around for a while.. but he's obviously not gonna be in until he's retired for good, as long as he's still wrestling for WWE, he's not going in.. after retirement, then yeah.. he's a sure thing :)

Jesus H. Christ! Talk about someone who has made a career out of putting people over and never, ever getting himself over! His character has been on the sidelines for years now, but he has all the ability in the world as far as wrestling is concerned. Look who they put Sin Cara against... Chavo!

From WCW to the present day... the guy has just never had that huge push. He won the WWECW ChampionShip, but they never even mention that title anymore!

Yes, he deserves a HOF spot eventually. BTW, I would totally do his aunt Vickie! She is looking fine as of late!

Yeah, I think he probably deserves a spot there, there have been much worse people than him get in so why not? He has had some great feuds with the likes of Rey, Eddie and recently Sin Cara. He is a 6 time cruiserweight champion, 3 time tag champ and 1 time ECW champ which is a pretty solid resume, not outstanding but solid stuff. He was one of the very few truly good things about late WCW and he has been a consistent performer for years with the WWE, who has been used to get a lot of people over.

Besides, after all the stuff he has done over the years (Kewin White, Hornswoggle, Santina in a hogpen match) you have to think that the WWE owe him just a little bit.

So yeah, I think he deserves a HOF spot, he has a pretty solid resume of titles and has had some great matches feuds over the years. I wouldn't loose any sleep if he didn't get in but he is probably deserving of a spot.

reading all of these posts absolutely blows my mind!!! does Chavo belong in the hall of fame??

NO!!! i see a lot of koko b ware "if he got in,chavo can", chavo has *never* had the popularity like koko had. go back and watch when he would come to the ring. people loved him. that character got all the kids going crazy.

chavo is like a latrell sprewell or one of my fav baseball players Dale Murphy. Good, maybe really good at times, but not a hall of famer. being a below mid card (even when he had the ecw title, that is considered below mid card in wwecw folks). he is a quality talent, but he should not get in on his own. he has never reached anything close to a career defining moment without one of his family members there to carry him up. his family get it? sure. but chavo by himself, hell no.

The Hall of Fame doesn't mean as much to me as it used to be. I don't think he should be in the hall of fame from what I've seen of him on TV. Then again, maybe he should... because we don't really know what goes on "behind the scene". Since the Hall of Fame is losing its prestige (in my ever so humble opinion), I guess anyone is eligible for a shot at it as long as the WWE can present a credible "case".

I will say yes, but only with the guererro family. he'll go in with hector, vicky, and others in probably about 5-6 years. he is a good mainstay, and can entertain and get someone over very well. not to mention, vickie is one of the best heel managers the wwe has ever seen. the amount of heat that she gets is at times more than i ever saw vince mcmahon get. the family definitely deserves to go in. and eddie deserved a spot all his own, which he already got. think about it, jim duggan got in, and i dont think he ever held a title, but the man means something to the history of the wwe, and i think chavo and the rest of the guererros do too.

It's hard to add anything that hasn't already been said here.

I'm really on the fence on this one. I don't believe Chavo should go into the HoF based on his accomplishments and accolades, but I can see him being inducted one day, simply because he's been a workhorse his entire career. It'll probably be Vickie they get to do the induction. Or Norman Smiley, their feud was epic! Poor Pepé!
