Just Do It

Getting Noticed By Management
The NXT Bobby Roode theme pushed it over the edge: they have really made entrance music great again. Nakamura and AJ Styles were two more of my new favourites, long may this trend continue because there was a point just a few years ago when the theme music was getting generic, uninspired and simply dull. Does anyone know much about CFO$?

Personally I'm not overly fond of the Roode theme, and I HATE AJ Styles' WWE theme. But CFO$ makes a ton of WWE songs, it's like they're slowly taking over for Jim Johnston. Just to name a few, they did Rusev, Paige, SmackDown (Black & Blue), RAW (The Night), Finn Balor, Becky Lynch, Kevin Owens, Sheamus (new theme), Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Charlotte, Alex Riley, The Miz, Damien Sandow's Hallelujah Remix, and Sasha Banks. I've heard they also did a version of Zack Ryder's theme, but WWE refused to grant him permission to change his music.

CFO$ can be very hit of miss. They do some great songs, but at the same time, they have had their misfires. There are times, when you look at Charlotte and Curtis Axel, where they use their parent's previous entrance music, and it gets muddled. Or you get the original version of Samoa Joe's entrance music that was a complete miss, in my opinion. While their music may not sound generic, they have a lot that hasn't really worked out.

I like CFO. Jim Johnson has created some true classics, and he has a HoF worthy career, but CFO's tunes speak to the new generation of stars and viewers, in my opinion. To best articulate my own experience, whenever Kevin Owens comes out, I feel like I'm playing Maximum Carnage on SNES. I also like to imagine that Shinsuke said to them "Do what Jim did for The Rock, but with violins."
