Cena's screen time

I have to ask all of you why are complaining about Cena's screen time when a lot of you didn't complain about JBL who has had screen time since I dont know maybe 2 years ago so why complain about Cena when no one complains about JBL's screen time and John Cena actually doesnt call his oppents "illegals" or insults them saying they have "machismo" so take this into considertion to anyone who is anti-Cean!!

Cena showed some real skill last night I can't believe, he went from boxing to technical, to hard hitting all with much ease, very great performance and charisma, the best of the night by any one wrestler may I add.

Um...calm down dude. I think you said something like this in another thread. Cena haters are just as much of marks as Cena fans. I wouldn't get bent out of shape about it. When JBL was champ, I hated it. I didn't complain because that would be a waste of time....just like the countless Cena bashing threads. Wait. You hate cena, but you give him your time by creating threads and cursing his name? Hwhat? Machismo isn't really an insult either. It means you have a strong sense of masculinity or toughness. I'm not a big fan of either of JBL or Cena but I always thought JBL was alot more interesting to watch than Cena.
I just thought the Cena idea went stale after so long. At least JBL's rants weren't always the same e.g he gradually put his cabinet together and gradually developed his "wrestling God" gimmik.
Cena has been near enough the same for about 3 years and its annoying after so long.
If you are going to carry on a gimmik that long it has to be a good one...eg Undertaker or Hulk Hogan. I just thought Cena's character was very 1 dimensional and was never going to get any better. Plus his alleged lack of wrestling tallent didn't help much...it is ultimately the wrestling that is important in a champion.

Hwhat?! Cena's gimmick has changed, but people have been too busy hating to see it. He went from thug/rapper to chain gang leader to the guy that respects all of his opponents(whatever you call that) to G.I. Joe. People hate Cena, not because he is "stale", whatever the hell that means. they hate him because they are either marks or smarks. He's just a wrestler to me, but I can't believe how worked up people get over this guy. It's amazing. Don't believe that WWE is not taking notice either. "The Most Contraversial Champ evar!!!!" Teehee. Anybody that says that Cena cannot wrestle is a supermark! Either you are comparing his "moves" to somebody you mark out to or you don't "get his style". Either way it's pretty funny.

I agree Cena's wrestling style does suit him...I can't really imagine him wrestling Bret Hart or Chris Benoit style.
It's just a personal opinion really...i don't go around saying Cena sucks but I just personally think he's annoying and I just get bored easily when someone is champ for so long. I started to get sick of JBL in the end and I didn't like how Stone Cold held the belt for so long all through the invasion angle a few years back and the 1 day reign of Kurt Angle half way through didn't help much.
I noticed alot of people were cheering Mickey James when she had the chance to take the womens title after Trish had held it for over a year... I think people just wanted someone new to have a chance.

Hmmmm well I did like Cena's preformance last night, one of his better nights. I don't think it's that bad that he gets a lot of screen time- it's not like he bad to look at which, is more than I can say for JBL. No offense.

calling his latino opponets "illegals" was the only thing i liked about jbl.. the hardest ive ever laughed at wwe is when he did that promo by the mexico border and he send the mexicans back to mexico.

I've just been thinking about Cena and i actually feel sorry for him. He has to come out week after week to the reactions he gets AND still try to play the face. What a lot of you people don't get is this is probably a better reaction the getting over as a face because the guy is stirring some major shit. This forum is an example , people having been raving NONSTOP over his title run , Love or hate , the guy is getting people talking which can only be a good thing for the WWE. He is prob the greatest heel trying to be a face ever.
