I voting for Steiner strictly because of character development. I watched Scott Steiner go from a white meat babyface when tagging with his brother into an insane heel.

RVD was always RVD. That's enough for me. Vote Steiner and I hope he wins the whole thing.

RVD may very well have always been RVD but he was over as fuck. Many say it's a crime that he didn't win the ECW Championship in it's original incarnation because he was more over than some of the champions at the time. He was a mainstay of the midcard holding it together during the early 2000s and beat John Cena for the WWE championship.

Scott Steiner is crazy. That's all he has going for him. When he was a good wrestler he was a tag team specialist and when he went all roided his skills diminished. He won the WCW title when it was in a decline, had some crap matches with Triple H for the world title and had some shit matches for the TNA title.

Steiner is weirdly good at promos and the promos between him and RVD would be hilarious but at the end of the day RVD would win because Steiner is to crazy and always ends up losing

Rob Van Damn has had some excellent matches in his career, most of the best where in the original ECW. But his character didn't change or evolve with the times. Eventually, his routine got really tired and he fell into the Rey Mysterio school of wrestling. (Same moves, same spots in every single match, never changing it up.)

Scott Steiner was part of my favorite tag team of all time, The Steiner Brothers. No other tag team was doing what these Steiners pulled out of their arsenals in the 1990's plus. Electric chair DDT off the top double team moves, power suplexing Big Men, just unique and the crowds ate them up with every move.

Late 90's Scott Steiner hasn't been seen in close to 7 months or more. This humongous man comes to the ring and interferes in a match, his hair is dyed.....holy shit! It's a jacked up Scott Steiner! What a transformation. The move to huge Steiner with an exaggerated gimmick helped his single run character get a cult-like following, the man with the craziest biceps in wrestling won the WCW Heavyweight Championship. But this comparison is not about championships because RVD is no slouch there either. Steiners in ring ability went down with his heavier muscles and he wasn't like the old Scott Steiner at all. He had to change it up. Steiner IMO has one of the best wrestling transformations the sport had ever seen. His antics inside the ring and out were colourful and I just can't help but like the crazy son of a bitch!

Vote Scott Steiner!

I'm with the camp that doesn't pop after watching a split-leg moonsault for the thousandth time. I buy a ticket to be entertained, and I'm a lot more likely to buy a ticket to see Scott Steiner.

Scott is amusing no matter what he's doing. I'm never annoyed by him, or take pity on him or get distracted by anything else when he's doing his thing on tv. Scott grabs your attention and belly to belly suplexes it into a ball pit full of LSD gummy bears.

Rob is a celebrated air head who interrupts his own matches to remind the fans of what his name is or what his initials are.

Please, let us have the Ultimate Warrior vs Scott Steiner dream final that would potentially cause reality to break.

Vote Scott Steiner.

The walking anti-dictionary known as Scott likely has done enough coke and steroids to have dulled some of his nerve endings over the years. So when RVD throws everything at him, it wont hurt as much. Steiner plays a game of catch with this skinny hippie. Once he wraps those freak arms around RVD, its over.

Scott slaps on the Recliner and yells about how much he hated Street Fighter until the wrong martial artist passes out.

Wow, I would have expected Scott to have pulled away by now. Steiner had more impressive accolades and main evented a hell of a lot more than RVD ever did. Decades later and fans still chant "ECW" at him, because that was the most memorable run he ever had. Forget the fact that he's pinned Austin and Cena. Steiner's run in WCW was far more impressive. He beat Goldberg. If Scott can defeat Goldberg, then he sure as shit can defeat Rob Van Dam.

ABC logic works here because Steiner taught me how to do math and that Samoa Joe is fat. He wins.

Steiner is hilarious, and I don't mind if he stays in forever. But truth be told, he wasn't a proper main eventer until WCW was desperate. And then he only won when they were really desperate. The WWE had RVD beat Cena as a reward for his hard work and overness over the course of his career there. Steiner, meanwhile, had one of the very worst matches ever when he was gifted a WWE title shot in the dark ages of 2004. There can be no reason to vote Steiner here.

The matches of RVD in ECW were stuff of legend. But the guy never adapted. He was talented and was known for his spots, but he was just being himself in the ring. The character of RVD was him in real life to a fault. There was no evolution. Steiner went through his phases before finally becoming "Big Poppa Pump". I'd like to pick RVD, but Steiner in his prime would hang and just out-wrestle him. Steiner wins.
