Cascada

Does she do...anything? Except steal other songs anyway. There's never been an artist I've seen as little point in as her. Apart from the fact she totally ruined 2 of my favourite songs, everything she does is awful. She has one of those voices that make me want to pick her up and throw her as far away as me from possible.

This is all made worse by the fact she seemingly has fans? Eugh. What does everyone else think of her? I personally don't know anyone who has enjoyed any of the songs.

I think it's actually a band? I have no idea, that singer is the only one who gets the attention.

She's defenitly not my favorite but I don't hate her as much as you. Cascada is a band, with a vocalist and than 1-2 producers/dj's in the mix. Anyways I see her more as a producer/dj rather than a stand alone artist. She mostly just remixes and do her own version of songs but makes them dance/techno type. Sorta like the Freemasons or other dancer producers but she actually re-sings them. They are not to popular here, with one notable hit and than a minor one but do well on dance charts. Anyways I think their find making dance music for clubs, but should be kept off radio.

You could say that a lot of artists do almost nothing. You could make the same argument for artists that have writers write their songs for them, all they do is sing things that are put in front of them. At least she re-invents them.. kind of. I've always thought of her as a singer though, I had no idea that it was even a band. At least they've only had the hit Everytime We Touch here, and that's all. At least she's been kept off radio. But one of my friends is fan, and I asked him why he liked her music. And he said that it was catchy. That's basically the only reason people like her. I couldn't care less about her, she doesn't really get noticed here and that's the way it should stay.

While I don't like categorizing a whole genre of music as shit I must say that I dislike dance music, and this Cascada in the short amount of work she does, butchers some decent songs. Having said that, some people like her music and that's up to them, she's making a great living out of it so good for her.
