Building towards HHH v Stephanie

Did anyone else catch Stephanie correcting HHH last week on Raw being teir show not his show? I noticed HHH did it again at the start of Raw this week and even though Steph walked down with a mic in hand HHH not only hogged the mic time but called Raw his show again.

They've been dropping subtle lines showing tension between Triple H and Stephanie since September. When "The Authority" first started they were doing promos in the back where Triple H was discussing what to do, what was "best for business" and when Stephanie said something Triple H told her it was a "McMahon" issue and she wouldn't understand.

Oh, for sure. There's been some tension between them here and there for months now, and I think that'll only pick up in the near future as Triple H keeps failing to end the Yes! Movement and/or take the title away from Daniel Bryan. I definitely think a major split is becoming between those two, and that will be the end of the Authority storyline.

Should be really good. Trips and Steph are two of the best workers on the mic, if not THE two best behind Paul Heyman, and both know how to make an angle real interesting. I just don't know who would be the face and who would be the heel. Steph is SO good as a heel but I don't think WWE can turn Triple H anytime soon... we'll see, I'm excited.

It seems likely that those two had some misunderstandings in the past. I vividly remember a line where Steph kinda threatened HHH to do the right thing or else and the crowd acted surprised or something.

I guess it would make an interesting storyline, but on the same notice, I wouldn't wanna see two guys fighting it out representing HHH and Steph. I mean, we got Orton representing the Authority and look what that got for him. He was the most irrelevant guy for the past 6 months, even though he was THE champ.

Maybe if done correctly, it might lead to a good program, but I'd say that they shouldn't do it.

If this weren't the PG era, I think Stephanie would work as the feminist face. Maybe trot the kids out on camera for the first time.

Don't they have all girls? She could claim she setting a good example for her daughters or something like that. Hmm...are the kids even old enough to be on TV?

I would definitely be a fan of the Authority angle ending; maybe this a sign that it will happen.

I think they'll continue to tease tension between the two but keep them as heels. I could be wrong but I feel like people know that they're married in real life a fake feud between them won't feel genuine. I could be wrong. To me it feels like the same thing with teasing Cena turning heel. It's interesting storyline-wise, but there's really no point in making it happen. It's a continuing tease every now and then to keep things interesting

The authority angle wouldn't end. I could see Steph tattling on HHH to Vince and bringing Vince back turning HHH back face.

The end of the authority is inevitable.. Stephanie is going to tire of Triple H,trying and failing to end the yes movement.. But in all honesty,I dont see anything drastic happening till after summerslam.. I am going to go out on a limb here, and say the end of the authority will be at survivor series!

Their oldest would be around the age Dominic was when he was on Smackdown I think. She was sitting next to them at the Hall of Fame...she is going to be turning 8 in June I believe. I think that would be fine if she has them just come out and say something, not get too involved in the story.

That's a thought. I figured the whole storyline would be Trips/Stephanie against Vince, but this would work too.

Actually, it seemed this whole scenario (whatever form it takes) was going to play out last year, but plans changed, as they so often do in WWE, when Vince McMahon suddenly stopped appearing on TV. Maybe they figured a major stockholder's uprising storyline would overshadow the Daniel Bryan Experience or, for all we know, they might have been thinking the Batista return would be so popular that the Authority didn't want to use themselves to compete against it. If so, it wouldn't be the same as cancelling the push of a WWE performer; no wounded feelings.

Well, it's now the post-Wrestlemania period..... if they're going to do something, it's a good time to start.

That would be good if it happened at Survior Series. The buyrates this past year was horrible. I still can't believe they went with a Orton/Show main event.
