Brock Lesnar vs. Light Heavyweights

Just a simple question... do you think there are any Light Heavyweights out there who could compete against Brock Lesnar, and actually defeat him?

First off, there's no one better to start this hypothetical question off with other than the current UFC Lightweight Champion, Lyoto Machida. He showed against Tito Ortiz that he has tremendous takedown defense and that he's a LOT stronger then he looks. However, Lesnar is a different kind of animal then Tito Ortiz, but at the same time... Lyoto definitely has Lesnar beat in the quickness department, but would that be enough for Lyoto to avoid Lesnar the entire fight and either get a decision victory, or perhaps even attack Lesnar when he gets winded and get a KO? Personally, I don't think so. I think Lesnar would eventually get his hands on Lyoto and when he did... it would be all over. But I think Lyoto would have a shot at defeating Lesnar more so then any other LHW out there, other than one person, who I'll get to in a minute.

Rampage vs. Lesnar would be an interesting fight, but Rampage's style caters to Lesnar. While I think Rampage would put up a fight better than most, he still wouldn't stand a chance in my opinion.

Forrest Griffin would get crush, I believe. Same goes for Shogun, Rashad Evans, Chuck Liddell, Luis Cane, Thiago Silva, Lil' Nog, Badar, and any other person you could name who fights in the division, except for one person... who I'll get to now.

Anderson Silva.

Now, I know Anderson Silva is the current UFC Middleweight Champion, but he walks around at 220 and fights at LHW occasionally, so you can count him as a fighter in the Light Heavyweight Division if you'd like to. And since I do, I strongly believe he would have the best chance out of ANYONE not in the Heavyweight Division at defeating Brock Lesnar. Why? Well, let's see...

The fact of the matter is, I think Silva would be able to avoid the takedown, and the few times he wouldn't be able to, he'd be able to survive off his back and that'll also tire Lesar as the fight goes on. On stand-up, while Lesnar would have the reach advantage, I still feel that Silva would be way to technical for Lesnar to handle and would completely outstrike him, and perhaps, perhaps... even knock Lesnar's ass out. Lesnar loves to push forward while on his feet, and that's exactly what Anderson wants, and when Anderson Silva gets what he wants, the man is unbeatable.

So, what do you think? Do you think Anderson Silva would stand a chance against Lesnar? Or what about Machida, Rampage, etc.?

I'd have to say that anyone against Lesnar from the Lightheavyweights couldn't do anything to him, he has about 50 pounds on most of them, as a wrestle he could easily over power them with the help of his obvious weight difference. Chuck in his prime would have caught Lesnar easily and Chuck is no slouch in the wrestling department but you know age catches up.
