Brock Lesnar doing make-a-wish

Brock isn't as lazy/unmotivated as people think he is. And people act like Cena is the only person to contribute to make-a-wish..

These things are always cool and it's very sad when people complain about people doing things for charity.

Also people don't act like Cena is the only one. People acknowledge that he literally does it more than anyone else in history.

Yes thats because hes the face of the company and they make him do it more than anyone else.. on top of that he makes millions more than anyone else, of course he would do it more

Don't make me close this thread because of your Cena hatred. This is a cool story and you're messing it up again. Like I said in the LD: stop.

I'm worried about you.

This is awesome! Finally someone who does things out of the kindness of his own heart. Not like Cena who does Make-a-wish for the publicity stunts

Your Cena insult was aimed at people that do not exist as opposed to Cena himself like in this previous post. Are you slipping or slightly maturing?

People give Cena more credit because he's done Make-A-Wish more than anyone, It's great Brock is doing shit like this to, didn't think he would.

To be fair I am aiming at both of them. I give Cena credit for being a talented performer, but one thing i will NOT give him credit for is his make-a-wish shit. Why would the company publicize it SO much if Cena was truly that kind-hearted? Why doesn't Cena just do it secretively? We can conclude two reasons form this; he either does it for publicity or the company just forces him to. Second of all I am tired of people bringing up Cena's make-a-wish contributions so yes of course I will target them as well.

You wanna see someone who does things out of kindness? Look at Titus O Neil taking homeless people to a restaurant. The company did not advertise it, and Titus did post it on Instagram, but it was to influence the audience, not for a publicity stunt. That was definitely not part of the job.

Ok, if he did it secret, how would you know? Maybe, he has done. Why do all your threads end up bitching about Cena? I get, you hate him and that can't be rectified. So, better move on.

Lesnar has done some stuff for ESPN this week to promote Summerslam and every bit I saw him in he was charming and seemed to be having a blast.

It's nice to see him in a good place and not come across as being miserable.

At least he didn't take him to Suplex City. What a shitty wish that would have been.

Lesnar is awesome and he is human. It is cool to see this get publicity.

The Beast's heart grew three sizes that day....

Plenty of WWE talent do these kinds of things & they usually end up in a montage of sorts throughout the year unless the talent puts something on twitter. They all seem to constantly be fitting in appearances or events during road trips. Cena is just highlighted more often than most due to his status with the company & does not mean he is forced to do these things or is being a charity spotlight hound.

I really enjoyed the pictures, kudos for posting them.

While I'll rag on John Cena most of the time, recognizing his contributions to Make A Wish is one of the few times where my hat's off to the man.

I know of John being on crazy tight schedules, and flat out refusing to cancel a meet and greet with a terminally ill child. I remember seeing pictures of John having a tea party with a little girl, that was one of those times where he was making his own life tougher for taking the time out for that little girl.

I don't care why they do what they do, but the WWE is doing right by me through their trend of having their performers brighten the day of a sick child. It could be selfish or whatever, at the end of the day they're awesome and I love them for it.

It's been a good week for face Lesnar. He came off as cool and approachable during his appearance on ESPN, said "we" when defending pro-wrestling against Dana White's comments, and now he's gotten some good publicity by granting a wish. He's obviously putting in some work before he takes his break following Summerslam, which should be applauded.

But not everyone who grants a wish has to be compared to John Cena. Yes, John Cena has granted the most wishes of all time, and yes WWE endorses that, but do you really think that every single wish he's granted has been publicized? Not even close. The argument just comes off as a poor way of attacking the man John Cena's character for doing commendable work, and it disgusts me quite frankly.

It's Make-A-Wish, it's awesome when anyone does it. Even if it was just a publicity stunt (which I doubt) they're still doing it, they're still fulfilling some sick kids wish, the reason why they do it really shouldn't matter. At the end of the day they're making some sick kids day by showing up, hanging out with them and giving/signing some memorabilia for them and that's pretty great regardless of the reasons behind it.

Why would the company publicize it SO much if Cena was truly that kind-hearted? Why doesn't Cena just do it secretively?

Or maybe, you skidmark on the underwear of life, Cena doesn't care about the publicity, but Vince and his PR team want to make the most of it?

Great for Lesnar. It's funny how worked up people get when other people don't have nice things to say about Cena. You guys actually insult people when they have a of different perspective of Cena than you

To be fair I am aiming at both of them. I give Cena credit for being a talented performer, but one thing i will NOT give him credit for is his make-a-wish shit.

That's because you haven't grown up yet.

Why would the company publicize it SO much if Cena was truly that kind-hearted?

Because that's what every company does.

Why doesn't Cena just do it secretively? We can conclude two reasons form this; he either does it for publicity or the company just forces him to.

No we can't make these two conclusions, you're just reaching for them to support your strange agenda. Don't worry we all went through it in our pre teens.

This could have been a nice thread, but you seem to have a habit of this.

On topic, it's really really awesome to see Brock involved like this. We can't know for sure, but he seems to be in a much better state of mind compared to the Brock Lesnar of 5 years ago. I'm happy for him.
