The mystery masked man who cost Chris K.O.'s advancement in the Gold Rush Tournament revealed himself again on Ascension 90. This time he blind-sighted Chris on the entrance ramp with a barrage of chair shots. Finally, the masked man dropped K.O. with a lethal inverted face-lock DDT on the steel stage before revealing himself to be a returning James Howard. Medical personnel are citing the DDT as the main cause for the concussion. Due to medical policies, Chris K.O. will have to sit out next round, but he should be cleared in time for the Gold Rush PPV.
