He seemed invincible at first, now he just seems so-so.
As I see it, he never seemed
invincible as much as
unpredictable, meaning he was as dangerous as anyone in WWE even though he loses matches. You never know what to expect from him, from kissing his opponent's forehead before applying the Sister Abagail.....to stuffing Dean Ambrose in an ambulance.
Meanwhile, standing in front of a guy like Bray who is growling one minute and laughing the next would scare the hell out of me if I were near him..
For these reasons, while I don't know that turning Bray fully into a face would ever go over, I can see him as a 'tweener.....and in that role, he could fight good guys and bad guys alike; it wouldn't matter to him because he's on his own mysterious mission.
We haven't heard him speak of wanting to win championships or gain individual honors, right? His only focus is on the guy he's going after next ....and to that end, he could tangle with Seth Rollins as easily as Dean Ambrose.
From the flexibility he showed when building up his WM31 match by himself, without needing his opponent to show up and present the other side.....to being able to win or lose matches and not have his effectiveness lessened because his goals are different than everyone else's.....I think he'd be perfect to play the character who gets cheered or booed, depending on who he's fighting.
That might be his place.
